It always kind of amazes me how voice actors can portray such a wide variety of characters using only the inflection and cadence in their voice.
Exactly why Frank Welker's talent STAGGERS me. He has done an INSANE amount of voices/characters, and virtually no two are alike! Again: staggering.
Stage is paramount in that matter.
I love how his regular speaking voice is Orson.
Gregg seems like such a good dude, and I had no idea he voiced so many memorable characters!
Oh my gosh I didn’t know he was both the voice of Grimlock and Orson! They are some of my favorite characters. Great going!
If you get the chance, listen to the Talkin' Toons podcast that featured many of the Transformers cast. Gregg was amazing.
Wow! Except for Susan Blu, and of course Frank Walker and Peter Cullen, I haven't seen too many interviews of the rest of The Transformers cast. So I think I'll definitely check that out! 👍

One of my favorite characters, along with the rest of the Dino-Gang. Pure Badassery. And it's funny how, even in parody, Grimlock's character stays consistent. He's raunched up a bit of course, but undeniably the Grimlock I grew up with. He earned the respect.

It's great to know that they are still very active in voice acting until know.
I love these, I personally had a dream for years of doing this kind of work, and love doing voices, I had people say I'm pretty good at it, so finally after years, I acquired the equipment to do so, finally going to make the attempt and I'm in it for the long haul. I am so glad to see you do videos like this. It inspires me so much, as I am a mega fan of the 80s properties as well , Thank you Retroblasting for this gem.

loved this video because of them. the interview was well done also.
As this video came on, I just happened to look over on my bookshelf, and saw my vintage Grimlock and GI Joe Spirit.
He was the lead (and a lot of the rest of the cast) in the English dub of Mazinger Z back in the 80s. But nobody seems to have ever seen that except me.
He just came to australia for supernova and I asked him all about it 😊 he loved it. Will be on RUclips soon
