Thanks for the review. Very helpful. I was about to get this one but now changed my mind.

So helpful! Am NOW deciding between Razor A3 (which you mentioned had slightly smallish wheels, though they are larger than the others in A series Razors...) and the micro Sprite. Others have also mentioned the ground scraping of the Speed+, but hearing from a guy of your build that it's almost too heavy for its portability purposes, was very helpful and among my main concerns. I live in BKLYN, and want something SO small i can carry easily, and also perhaps stash in my bag if entering a movie theater, or resto.... The Razors in general seem SO well built, seem to fold easily and well, and seem pretty durable and light-and all in all an amazing $ value/quality. I have been trying to figure out if removing the wheelie bar leaves the back wheel too loose/unstable on the A3.... BUT, the Micro Sprite, especially after watching your review, seems like it might be the sweet spot (though not sure if it too is prone to ground scraping, which would be a deal breaker for me...) I have tested it in-store, and liked it... the handlebars and board seem ever - so -slightly better scaled for an adult than the razors, even the larger-wheeled A3 (I'm 5'2 1/2 x 125 lbs). In retrospect, now having ridden your Micro speed for 3 weeks, and given what I've shared, from the "girl" in BKLYN, would you steer (forgive pun) me in direction of the Micro Sprite of A3 Razor? Thanks so much for great review!!! Appreciate how challenging it is to film oneself white doing youtube vids. Respect!

Honestly, now that I have had this scooter for more than a year, I would not go any smaller than this scooter. One thing I have learned, the bigger the wheels, the better they are able to handle imperfections in the path (eg cracks and gaps). I have come off my scooter many times and the smaller one would not have managed the paths. Also, keep in my mind the bigger the wheel, the faster you can go. I once road with a friend whom had a 200mm wheel scooter and I had trouble keeping up with him. I have since come to the conclusion that the Razors aren’t built for stability so I wouldn’t bother with them.

As for the scooter bottoming out, you learn to deal with it. It’s not ideal but you can manage it bulky either voiding humps on the path or using you kick foot to lift over the hump as you ride.

hi there. i know its been 3 years since you wrote the message above. i am hoping you are still following this thread. which scooter did you end up buying? i have the same dilema as you, i want something light and small that i can carry when i got inside a store. i currently have the classic with the 200mm wheels size and to me it is soooooo heavy. i am thinking in selling it and getting this speed one, that is 1kg less or the rocket model with the thick 120mm wheels that is also 1kg less. but i am honeslty afraid that the thick wheels of the rocket model will be a disapointment since the bigger the wheels the faster you go. anyway... i am sooooo unsecure because i cant go wrong due to i live in brazil and i dont get these here, i will have to pay big bucks to import 1 via a friend. so i have to choose wisely. its a one time deal for me :(

hi there. awesome review video. do you own another model from micro? i have the classic one with the regular size 200mm wheel and i am thinking about getting this one... just because this might be a lighter to carry? do you have one like mine to compare? thanks.

Your timing is impeccable, I literally bought the speed deluxe a few days ago and have ridden it. I am planning to do a comparison video over the weekend and post it if you want to wait for it. But it is a very good scooter and a good compromise between the speed plus and the classic

@@N_eLOS yes please do the video review of both. i am thinking in getting the 145mm one because i think it will be lighter to carry around. i am 1,55cm height, very petite women. i think the 200mm scooter is a bit bulky.

@@N_eLOS hi there. Was wondering if you'd be uploading the review video of the speed deluxe? Would love to hear your thoughts on it vs the speed+

Hi, my speed+ has the same rattling problem. I also live in melbourne. Where did you get the button replaced?
