Oh my gosh. Hearing what Proteus did was insane. I knew that he had done some bad stuff, but no wonder he is in Narino. And Zane, did Vasilis actually know about it? I am kind of in shock. Connor! Sending! That was genius! And Jefferson calling Matt was awesome. It's definitely nice to have closure on whether or not Adelphos wanted to come back. The hydra was definitely a surprise. That'll be interesting, especially since it is already dead. Are we going to get an after show for this? Cause this episode was crazy. My character's biggest regret is probably not doing more to keep order within the party that then split, one group finishing the quest, while the other group caused chaos. Or, another character, a warlock, had a lot of regrets around not making her pact earlier, since it could have saved lives.
Ya, it's crazy to hear everything that Proteus was involved in! It totally sounded like Vasilis was, to some degree, in on everything that happened with Theseus. I am super interested to find out more about that! I loved Calen using sending! What a brilliant move. Then hearing for actual Matt speaking for Adelphos! What a cool thing. Probably one of my favorite unplanned twists so far. That was really cool. I am interested to see how the hydra fight goes. Now that we've fought it once before, I am interested to see how our tactics, or even better it's tactics, with change. Thanks for sharing those. Sometimes it can be hard when the party splits like that. I played in a game where that happened and it cause some feelings with people at the table. Luckily, we talked it out and were fine afterwards, but it can be rough. Hopefully, the regrets stayed with the characters and never moved to the players for your experience.
Wow what an assumption that Theseus would be in Elysium. Proteus doesn’t really deserve any sympathy but I feel so sad for him. He lived a life he didn’t want and the life he did live he ruined it instead of making the best of it. Great idea about the wall!!! I wouldn’t have thought of that! That was awesome hearing Mat’s actual words for Adelphos!!!! That was so great! Oh geez the hydra?! Literally everything they’ve killed is just gonna come after them for revenge 😬 This episode had so many pirates of the Caribbean type things! The compass potentially pointing to what they want, the could’ve been kraken that turned out to be a hydra, all the weird stuff they were seeing (made me think of the 3rd movie). Lots of fun! Probably my favorite episode so far this season!
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the episode so much! I personally loved hearing from Matt as he spoke through Adelphos. That was so much fun! I'm so glad Connor chose to do that! That really was quite the assumption from Proteus about Theseus. I guess I never thought about it, but I'm sure he was judging us hard core when he saw that it was us thinking that we didn't make it to Elysium. We'll have to have a chat to him about that. I am interested to see how the fight with the hydra goes and super excited to see who else will be down here wanting to fight us. I can't remember if it was on or off camera, but in our very first fight EVER with these characters. Like, back when we were fighting for the walls of Neolantis. Jefferson had created a homebrewed captain of the guard character, and we just so happen to one-shot him, and I predicted that we will see that guy down here somewhere, so that Jefferson can actually use the stat block that he made. What people or monsters do you think we will see down in the underworld that are looking for a fight?
@@PG-DND it’s hard to remember all the people that would be looking for a fight, there’s just so many 😂 But for sure the displacer beasts and the golden guy-can’t remember his name for the life of me!
Those are good! I wasn't even thinking of them. The displacer beasts would be crazy and I feel like a very emotional/morally grey thing, because that fight was totally our bad, but also a god asked us to do it so...I don't know where we would stand with that one. But Chrysos would be crazy! I literally had to look it up to remember his name as well Haha!
