I'm Taiwanese and have been watching gymnastics since a kid. My favorite team is the Romanian team. Their moves are graceful and they dance beautifully. Too bad "grace" under the current criteria doesn't benefit much. But still, to watch the Romanians on beam and uneven bars is a pleasure. They can always open the audience's imagination. The grace, elegance, beauty, and delicacy are qualities that no other team can overpass. Especially the US team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you, the U.S. gymnastic team is nothing without Romanian coaches and staff. If you were to take away the Romanian coaches and staff, the U.S. gymnastic team would fall apart. I remember before 96, the U.S. team would always get beaten badly and make so many mistakes because of poor coaching and lousy recruitment.
@GymFloozie Yes, i'm absolutely sure that Romania will rise again. Romanian Juniors are really impressive and strong ... oh, and the best thing is that Belu and Bitang are back for the romanian team. They came back last 15 days! I'm so happy! I can't wait to see Romania on the top of the podium again.

@HappyOannyBunny I´m sorry to dissapoint you. But Romania will never rise again. We´re doomed. Romania as a nation will not rise, niether in economics, sport, health,education. Romania got nothing left, we´ve destroyed everything. Absolutely everything.
I think that he meant that is a shame that the US is such a big country, with such a large population (for example Romania has the population ans size of Texas) and you still don't have enough authentical values to promote. And before mentioning the crowded part, think about mexicans, indians, etc...
since when? since the U.S government hired Romanian gymnast coaches to improve your national gymnastics team, cos before we wore always over you and you also wore beneath us. :) If I would be you I would be not so proud, but ashamed cos you recruit coaches from different countries and gymnasts too, meaning your country is not capable to produce or evolve talents...lol

There isn't much American influence in Romania since most of the women are thin. Plus a girl can get beaten to a pulp if she acts American there.
