Logics stock synths are INCREDIBLY AWESOME. Already coming with giant preset libraries to start and explore with, and tweak from even if you’re not experienced with synthesis! Then, using the Latch too in logic you can play through a track and add live automation peramters within the synth or even outside of the vst with another plugin!
Always fun to see what you do with these 1st gen Logic synths (now 25+ years old), but I question why new Logic users would bother when you’ve got Alchemy, Retro Synth, Sculpture and the Samples?
Excellent question. I think my approach is about revealing how easy it is to use the wide range of Logic tools at our disposal to create something new. We all can become a bit spoiled when we have juggernauts like Alchemy at our fingertips to quickly pull up presets. However a little knowledge on synth editing and discovery can be helpful 😀
I don't always want to let such information into the masses, it's the same as all the rich don't want the rest to know how to get rich😂 but seriously, let this comment at least a little help to promote this video
The tiny subtle effects added to this moody piece are great. Thankyou.
Absolutely Ian. It’s just an accumulation of small changes that produce a really interesting palette of sounds. Cheers 👍🏾

Absolutely correct. Just so much synth power lying dormant under the hood. More videos coming to highlight these fantastic tools 😀
