We like Skittles. Taste the rainbow. Note that guests are not actually required to participate in tasting the rainbow. We generally do that alone, after the ceremony, just like a straight wedding.
One of the great things about Key and Peele is that they are not really controversial except for the really bored people out there. Its their creativity, chemistry, acting and even sets are all fantastic for simple comedy sketch show. They can be strange and weird but all in a good way. 100% worth going down the loop hole for comedy.
This one is my favourite. So many good jokes and details to pick up, like Finney refusing to make eye contact with Garry, and the guy taking notes kills me. My second favourite is "The most stressful restaurant experience".
I love the comment -- "It's a joke" I was taken back by the comment, "it's quite controversial." Why is it controversial when it's comedy and a joke? The craziness of it being controversial I find crazy. The risk of offending someone is OK!!
The brilliant thing about this, is that there isn't even anything controversial about it. It's just a few tropes and stereotypes wrapped in a well-presented comedic package. Not sure if you guys have done the East/West bowl sketches, but if not, those are gold!
Suggestions: Key/Peele - Manly Tears, Obama Anger Management, I Said Bitch, Sub Teacher 2, Football Names 1,2,& 3 there are tons more...love the channel..
@@ki11atj49 we’re a literal melting pot of cultures with slavery/segregation engraved in our founding. Our humor comes from these experiences that extend into the modern day. It’s not to say no other people/country have experienced the same thing, but Americans have a unique story, so as everyone else. We are just fortunate enough to live in a nation where free speech is held high & as such actively push barriers. Not because we seek to break said barriers, but only expand. The aforementioned culture pot only adds more to this.
Of you look at the background and the way they were dressed this would be a conversation you would have in the 80's where gay weddings were something new
If i ever find out there's going to be a gay wedding with cross dressing guests, stripping boat captain priests, gay hymns, jazz hands, a pony show, couscous and Skittles, Neil Patrick Harris and Tu Paul I'm crashing tf outta that wedding, I'll be wearing a firemen's hat though since .........
Lol I feel like your girl is trying NOT to laugh, 😂, and then I like when she can’t help but break and crack up! Haha. She’s so serious in between. But I hope the more you watch the more we can see her find what really gets her going! Lol. Great reaction guys!
This sketch is HILARIOUS and not mean spirited at all! It just joking and poking fun with exaggerated questions straight people assume about LGBTQ people :) All fun here! If they were mean spirited the family would not be doing this for their family gay member. Secondly, for British and other people, YES throwing rice like confetti at the newly married couple at the end of the wedding is a real tradition here in the USA. :)
@@shelleytorok1406 Good to know. I was mainly explaining the tradition to rice throwing for people who are not from America. Other British RUclipsrs who have reacted to this Key and Peele clip were confused about "throwing rice" in this case, "Cous-Cous or Skittles" :)
That is one of my favorites, glad you both enjoyed it. I enjoy Pirate Chaney, Sex Detective, LA Vice, Cunnilingus Class, MR. T PSA, Mafia Talk Gets Ruined, Continental Breakfast, Pizza Order, and many others (The A-Aron appearance trilogy Substitute Teachers and East West Bowl 2). Thanks for asking.
I had to look-up what Camel currency was (as opposed to Ur-Ass currency). Apparently, there used to be 'coupons' inside Camel cigarettes boxes that people could collect and ex-change for cash. You are welcome.
My advice on anything you do dealing with jokes and humor. Don’t explain. It’s best when it has initial impact. Let the audience work it out. If somebody is triggered, they need to work that out amongst their own brain cells. And grow up a bit. This is why we mark things as comedy so somebody doesn’t get all triggered
My opinion is comedy is comedy... Some comedians are not for everyone. I am not responsible for your reaction to a particular joke. If someone is offended, let them be offended. They can "move along" if they don't like it.
You really REALLY need to react to the song by Jason Michael Carroll the song is Allysa Lies it is based on a true story...but you need to watch the ORIGINAL version there is no nothing against the official version you can tell it is the official version because it starts out this is based on a true story but watch until the end there is ALOT of useful info following the song
Key and Peele were cast members of MadTV, a comedy sketch TV series. Another cast member on MadTV was Daniele Gaither (woman on this video asking about the anal sex). Keenan-Michael Key along with Daniele Gaither and Michael James McDonald did a sketch called "My Parking Spot". It's so disturbingly funny that it's worth a video reaction. I think you will enjoy it.
People need to stop acting as if there’s some noticeable cultural change in folks getting offended over jokes. Nothings changed. There’s no actual mob going around canceling comedians. If so, where are they & why aren’t they more represented in all aspects of social life? Take RUclips for example. Rarely will you find reactions & comments from someone who’s easily offended, much less a mob of them. But, you will find countless videos & comments where people are whining about others being too hypersensitive & perpetuating the idea of cancel culture run amuck. This is the real problem. One is a boogeyman & the other is just a political manipulation strategy that’s gotten out of hand.
That was just a silly take-off - nothing serious and I’m totally on board that anyone can just live the way they want. No worries to anyone - just a laugh.
As a follow up to my earlier comment (please see Steve M comment). People speaking and having free speech are not in charge of who and why others are offended!!!! The person who is offended is responsible for that emotion!!!! To speak freely and think freely is, by nature, a risk in being offensive to others. If you go through your life having the primary concern to not be offensive then you will never be able to speak freely. If anyone is offended, get over it!! It's a useless, unproductive emotion!!
Love you guys doing K&P. I think you guys would enjoy this SNL sketch “a close encounter” and it’s sequel “another close encounter” ruclips.net/video/PfPdYYsEfAE/видео.html
I've never been to a gay wedding, but if i ever go, im throwing skittles

Guys, stop apologizing and giving disclaimers. It's comedy. If someone takes offense to this, they have no sense of humor.
I’m glad you’re enjoying American comedy. I know we can sometimes take things “far” but it’s all in the love of humor. Never no ill will.
In many cases there’s typically a hidden message that deals with societal relevance
What even is American Comedy like honestly it's just comedy sure they're American but like what are your differentiators like what does that even mean

What makes it so funny is, in every black family you will find all of these characters. The time setting of this skit is the 1990's.
Those are some big stars in that family. How'd they get so many?
They need to do Key & Peele Megan. I just hope it's not taken down when they put it up because of Megan skits are some of the funniest.
They are!!😅
You should check out Charlie Berens - he’s from Wisconsin and does a lot of “Midwest humor”
I'm sorry the anal sex question took me away with tears laughing
Why would anyone think that that video could offend someone?
It’s clearly making fun of the people who have stereotypical opinions about gay people.

You know who does the best gay humor? Gay People! Try Rick & Steve. There are two seasons, and they are a riot!

Mexican standoff is my favorite K&P skit.
Another MadTV sketch with Keenan-Michael Key and Anjelah Johnson that is just a classic bit of comedy is "Bon Qui Qui at King Burger". You'll love it.
