I scrolled down to look for Cedar Point because I knew someone would had to have already mentioned it. Anyone who enjoys roller coasters should go to Cedar Point at least once.
Yes. more theme parks! Phantasialand and Europapark are definitely a must go. Especially with F.L.Y. now open at Phantasialand. Other notable parks are Holiday Park, Efteling and Movie Park.
Busch Gardens Tampa has the one where you ride up the tower then drop 230ft. also along with the one where you stop at the top then drop over the edge. I think one was called the kraken. I'm glad you enjoyed your day
Next time yall go to America, yall should visit Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia. They have a german/european theme and there is even a festhaus. They have cool stuff on halloween and Christmas and I would love to see a german perspective on the place
Long time since I was there. Really close to that is also the Serengeti Park. There you have a small but fun amusement park for the time after you drove through the wildlife enclosures. Little tip: Dont take your own car. When we went there when I was young, the monkeys pulled of all the waternozzle from the car. XD
Quite often Heidepark is mentioned as the third best amusement park in Germany. Phantasialand Cologne comes in second place and Europapark Rust in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg is considered the best German amusement park.
Moin Deana, hey Phil. Thank you for this funny video. Personally, I love theme and amusement parks and visit around ten different ones every year - mainly in Germany and Europe, but sometimes also in America or Asia. Rollercoasters are one of my hobbies. Unfortunately, Heide Park belongs to a group that does not maintain this park particularly well or provide it with innovative rides. I think there are at least four parks in Germany that are better: Tripsdrill (BW), Hansa Park (SLH), Europapark (BW) and Phantasialand (NRW). The latter two do not have to hide behind Disney or Universal at all - on the contrary: Both parks have won more for their innovations, rides, themes and hotels / restaurants than many American major parks. In this respect, I would most recommend a 2-day-package at the Hotel Charles Lindbergh in Phantasialand; maybe followed by three days in one of the great hotels of Europaprak with two days of amusement park and one day of Rulantica water park. ;-) In neighboring European countries, Efteling in Holland, Plopsaland in Belgium, Parc Asterix in France, Energylandia in Poland and Tivoli Copenhagen in Denmark are worth a trip. Have fun in parks and all the best to you ...
I live in NJ. Home of 6 Flags Great Adventure. They have some older rollercoasters that will rattle the fillings out of your teeth. But El Toro is shockingly smooth and fast.
i´d suggest to go to the phantasialand. i was there like 2 years ago and it was just great. It´s not way to big but had enought rides to spend the day. And a biggie is also the ( i believe the name was) taron. you gotta try that ride out it´s something u´ve never experienced before.
We love Europapark super great rides and theming ,take a bathingsuit with you because they have a super great waterpark Rulantica and cool hotels(6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) where you can film everything cant wait to see your video over the park and all the things
I was there 2 years ago! Desert race, Flug der Dämonen, Colossus and a few smaller ones - but Colossus broke me. Sweaty hands and heart racing for 15min or so. Flug der Dämonen was my favorite of all of them!
I live close to Cologne, so I am in Phantasialand pretty often (this year already three times) and I love that park. There are really cool roller coaster and I can fully recommend it.
Deanna , i am just like you afraid of heights but love roller coasters. I grew up in Erie Pa and we have Waldameer amusement park there and we also have Cedar Point just over in Sandusky Ohio. Both great places , not too huge. Glad you both had fun.
Moin moin! I enjoy these videos. Amusement Park Rides are something I cannot do as I am disabled. So, watching others enjoy them is a great thing for me. Thank you for this. And Phil...your hair is FINE okay? It's fine!
I love theme parks in Germany!! 💕💕💕 Europa-Park, we use to go there when I was a kid and and a teen! Great times!! My favorite is Universal Studios in Orlando! Anything Harry Porter, my favorite is the beer batter ice cream!!😋😋😋.
I was able to go to the Hallo Spencer exhibit when they still had it at Heide Park. It's a kids' show with a cult following, of which my husband is their leader.
I love huge roller coasters….I may be ruined though. I went bunging jumping, from the height of a Ten story building. Over in seconds. I think I’d prefer sky diving.
When I was a kid my parents took us to Disney World, and we spent 1-2 days in each park. They didn't even have The Animal Kingdom then, and we still couldn't do it all!
I've been to both Europa and Phantasialand. If you looking for a ride; then you would like Silver Star at Europa-park. I didn't go on the ride, but my friend did. She said half way up the incline she was glad see updated her life insurance. She felt the incline was twice as long as a normal ride. But between the two my son & I choose Phantasialand. The rides are just as fun. Plus it was closer to us.
I live near Phantasialand and we visited it once a year with our children. It is sth like a "Familientradition". We enjoy it very much, even if it's incredibly expensive. But it's worth it ;-)
A ride in the US like scream is why I stopped going to parks for about 15 years. My 6th sense told me to double check the restraint, it came undone ( flipped up) I was off before they could hit the button... so yeah I had a fear of coasters for a long time. 2003 - 2021 is how long I went avoiding coasters. I am glad to know Deana had fun.
Our family has been to Discovery Kingdom (formerly Marine World), Great America, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Disney World, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal. Magic Mountain has the best roller coasters, Disney is just great, but Islands of Adventure was probably the most fun. Thanks for the video!
Europapark, no question ❤ however, I don't think you can compare it to Disney World Orlando really, it's just a league of its own. We went in 2019 and you need at least two days per park and it's 4 theme parks plus 2 water parks. But if you ever get the chance, you definitely definitely have to go! 😍🎢
You guys should definitely go back to Florida and do a big vlog series on the parks there, with city trips in between. All the Disney Parks, Universal's Parks, it's insane!
I was born and raised in Germany, and I love that amusement park so much!!! You guys should go to the Hannover zoo and check out their play ground and food, It’s epic.
You should definitely go to Phantasialand, I was there this summer and they have some of the best attractions I've ever ridden (aka Taron and the brand new F.L.Y. which is just amazing)
Live in Hamburg area since 7 years but I have never been to Heidepark. Instead I was in Legoland DK, Phantasialand, WB Moviepark and Disney Land Paris.
Thanks for sharing! We have been to most of the amusement Parks in the U.S. and have been to Europa twice. I do prefer Europa park compared to the U.S. amusement parks because it is less overwhelming and shorter walks between areas, and most rides and activities can be done within a day's visit. I look forward to visiting Phantasialand soon.
My wife and I discovered your channel yesterday, and we’ve been absolutely obsessed with it since then!! Your channel is so much fun! 😁 After watching this video, we would love to see you two visit Phantasialand, or Europa Park.
You should go to Phantasialand! As soon as I heard about that theme park I immediately started trying to learn German, because I want to visit Germany specifically to go there.
I like the parks that also offer shows and games. Disneyland in Cal has shows like World of Color . Hershey Park is great too. But I used to go to a park in Nashville that's not there anymore. Opryland. They had rides and shows of different music. I miss that place.
I got sick on an Alice in Wonderland teacup ride at a state fair once, so I think roller coasters are a hard NO for me. I think the ride called Scream should probably be called Barf!
Europa park is great, but be aware that it is not packed with big rides (there are some massive onces but most are "for the whole family" / less hardcore. (most, not all of them) However Europa Park is very well known for it's shows they are putting up like ice shows, varieties shows, parades and so on. Those are amazing and a little bit like going to a musical right after going to a roller coaster after having done an story based right before that. There are people dressed up like the Euro Mouse (and some others - pretty close to like it would be in Disney world). And they really got the sweetest (most stereotypical) areas there from all around Europe (italy area, russian area, german one, greece, france, etc.) The last time I have been to Phantasialand was a very long time ago, so I can't remember (I was 5 or 6 years old and that is of cause a totaly different thing too) but from what I hear it is pretty great too. Maybe I should revisit it again too.
Sometimes Phil acts like he's 58 years old and looking forward to retirement. Meanwhile Deana is acting like a teenager running around after plush animals.
Was besseres als den Europa Park werdet ihr in Deutschland nicht finden ;-) Ich finde ihn tatsächlich sogar besser als das Disneyland in Paris. Der EP hat eine schönere Atmosphäre.
I do love theme parks! Don't really have time to visit them too often, but Germany has quite a bit to offer. Heide Park is my "home park", but being from the edge of the Harz Mountains it's still a bit of a drive. Phantasialand is considered to top anyone including Disney when it comes to theming and offering the most efficient package of fun and world class rides and themed areas in a small overall area. Europa Park is simply considered to be the best Theme Park in the world. It has won the Golden Ticket Awards for years now. In terms of thrill rides Cedar Points is probably better, but they severely lack theming and atmosphere.
I don't have a favorite; but the last time I was at a theme park was the one in Coney Island. I rode the wooden Cyclone roller coaster and it was jerky! I was with some friends and I guess we looked nervous because a nine year old "expert" told us that it was better to sit in the front of the roller coaster, so we took his advice. Bad call. The Tivoli Gardens in Denmark is on my bucket list.
I love Heide Park. Ist is just about 1.5h drive from my place. When i was a kid, my family went there once a year. then took a break for some time and for the last few years me and my sister are going there once a year now. It is a bit sad to see the transformation from "just a fun time" into "all about commerce and consumption", as nowadays the exit of every bigger attraction lands in a souvernir shop. That wasn't the case 10 years ago. EDIT: The "Scream" is one of my favourite rides along with the "bob-Bahn" and the "Desert Race".

What is your favorite theme park?? And where in the world is it?
Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. It is the best amusement park for roller coasters in the world.
It looks epic!!
Europa Park rocks
Hershey Park
Bakken/Denmark, the worlds oldest amusement park!!!🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
The Phantasialand is absolutely world class, definitely a must do!
Phantasialand is in Brühl/ Cologne/Köln .
Not Brühl/ Heidelberg
Yes and DEFENETLY Europapark wich is Minimum as good as Phantasialand…
Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio! I hate to drop, but love roller coasters!
I scrolled down to look for Cedar Point because I knew someone would had to have already mentioned it. Anyone who enjoys roller coasters should go to Cedar Point at least once.
10:04... Deana casually throwing in a "ja genau" - awesome :)
I was in Phantasialand a few weeks ago. It was wonderful and the attractions are closing at 17:45 Uhr. Don’t miss the really great shows! So amazing 🥰

Please go to Europa Park and bring us with you ! I went there 3 times when I lived in Germany and I just loved it! Wish I could go back ..
Europapark in Rust, to take the full park in his full awesomeness you need at least two days in row :)
Don't forget Hansa Park with one of the biggest droptowers and it is at the ocean.
Ohhhhhhhh that sounds scary, but exciting! 😍
Jup 👍🏻
I travelling every jeahr 700km only to visit Hansa Park. Its one of the beautifulest Theme Park in Germany. But my Homepark is Europa Park.

Been to Europa Park a long long time ago when I was stationed in Germany, it was fantastic but I'm sure it is way better now
Diana would love the drop tower in Hansapark, it's even higher (120m resp 103m fall) and offers a fantastic view of the baltic sea

This was so much fun to watch! Loved your excitement and the way you told us about the park, Deana!!
Thank you, Eva! 🤗💜 I couldn't hide my excitement! The park was a lot of fun! 🎢😍
You should definitely visit the Phantasialand. There‘s much more to discover than at Heidepark...

I’m so jealous!! I love roller coasters. Phil love your hair styles after the rides.
Movie Park has the new Star Trek exhibit/achterbahn which reminded me of Las Vegas' Star Trek Experience, RIP.
Phil’s hair by the time they get to Desert Race 😆
I love theme parks in Germany!! 💕💕💕 Europa-Park, we use to go there when I was a kid and and a teen! Great times!! My favorite is Universal Studios in Orlando! Anything Harry Porter, my favorite is the beer batter ice cream!!😋😋😋.
YES! The Harry Potter world is amazing! We just have to get Phil into Harry Potter to fully enjoy that area of the park! 😅
I like the idea of a smaller park that you can actually get to everything in. I'd like to see the Europa Park!
I was able to go to the Hallo Spencer exhibit when they still had it at Heide Park. It's a kids' show with a cult following, of which my husband is their leader.
Heide Park was the Theme Park of my childhood. It's not as it used to be in the 90s. It is still okay, but I prefer Hansa Park today.
Halloween is extremely good on BURG SATZVEY....very scary ...very good actors.
Ohhh sounds epic! Will make a note for next Halloween! 😍
"All of the rides are closed" (Flight of the Demon rushes through the background)
they might have just finished the waiting line but closed the entrance off the line
Deanna I'm also afraid of heights but LOVE roller coasters. With you girl.
I love huge roller coasters….I may be ruined though. I went bunging jumping, from the height of a Ten story building. Over in seconds. I think I’d prefer sky diving.
Ohhh yesss, agreed! I prefer sky diving more than bungee jumping as well. 😍 - Deana
How fun. I never thought about going to an amusement park in Europe but I’ll have to add to the list next time I go.
We we’re there in 2016 and we really had fun. Your video bring back memories. Thank you for sharing.
You guys always give me so much joy and uplift my mood to start my day. More and more videos please! 😊
