My dad was stationed nearby this town in the about 1953 and I'm glad to see not much has changed in fact it has greatly improved my dad was in the Army and from 1951 to 1953 and I'm just really glad to see this thank you

Thanks for sharing. I just took a trip down memory lane. I walked so many of these streets as a young GI back in the 80's. I made many friends in BK. I really miss it and all the people that I know. I haven't been to BK since a visit in 96, I am sure a lot of things have changed but the landmarks stay the same. Thanks again and kind regards.

Why is it called Bad Kreuznach? Is there a Good Kreuznach? Only heard of it from finding out of a German ancestor from there with last name Riegel but for some reason changed to Riggle in America.

I also walked those streets with my wife and daughter in 1964-1967 8th ID Das Gouttes Kaserne, Supply and Trans Battalion

I was stationed with the 8th ID in BK from Jan to Oct '65, before being sent to Vietnam. Wonderful city and my time there was much too short.
