Ive got an off road camp Trailer that we are improving on and the low tongue weight is an issue for me as well. I need to mount a spare on the front like this. Along with my battery bank setup.
I understand you don't like the gate location but I think it's perfect. Everything close enough it's at a arms reach but movable to accommodate to future ideas. After a couple uses you should figure out better spots. Like the whole empty spot under the bed. Don't overload or forget you have a truck.

That's exactly what I need... gonna have to watch the builds. Can you still yow your kayaks or boat behind that. Suggest replacing fuel tank for water tank for showers
I have watched all the trailer videos, but nowhere is shown how you did put up with the bed cover. How did you deal with the brakects being in the way of the cover?

I mounted some small (3”) bubble levelers on all 4 corners with 3m outdoor 2sided tape. Super useful.

I've had this idea for so long, it's scary how you took the idea in my head and made it reality! Absolutely perfect.
A rear sway bar would also make a big difference I’m sure someone makes a universal one to fit
It's awesome! Swinging the outer tailgate the other way would make it feel like a lot more room on the camping side. Great build!

This thing is awesome, I'm still looking into towing behind it, but i can still haul my kayak on top of it. 🤙🏼
@@KayakUSA1I built one few years back, not as extreme S yours but it serves purpose and use it every year.
I would have moved the front box forward and put the spare behind the box infront of the bed.
we all know u just spent the night out in that thing i woulda nice work tj everything you do is so smooth and it all makes sense.

It’s a Billie bars bed rack, they are designed specifically so you can still run tunnel covers. They are not in the way at all.
