Em, I was in a toxic relationship for years and had kids with him. Everything was great for about 3/4 years then out of the blue he changed. I used to blame myself, which I feel we all do in that situation. When you said 'you'd wake up in the morning and not know how the day was going to be' you hit the nail on the head for me. That's exactly how I felt on a daily basis for years. It was horrible. I'm a outgoing loud-ish person but he would strip me of that. I was literally like jackal and hyde! When he was at work I'd be me when he was home I'd be the way he wanted me to be. My kids started to notice the change and that was it for me. I made plans for my 'escape' and left him to only have a so called friend tell him where I was. Can you believe it, I left the town I was in and she told him where I'd gone. He tracked me down and I ended going back because he PROMISED he'd change. Changed for 3 weeks lol I stayed again because he was making a effort and I could see our kids were happy and didn't want to take them away from their dad but things were not nice. He would put me down in front of the kids and make me feel worthless and it was horrible. I have boys and didn't want them to think that's how women are to be treated. I ended up leaving with them again and this time he didn't find us and we were in the same city lol. It was hard. Then I met my now husband and been together for 28 years and he treats me and my kids with so much respect and love that we never knew what to do with it lol. Fair tales can be made and anyone that's reading this and going through it I Pray you find a way out. It's hard, I know but once you make the move it's the best thing ever. I've never been happier than I am today. I never knew happiness existed! I used to look at couples and wonder why I couldn't be like that! It's sad but I found my Mr Perfect! I respect you for not showing Mr Z on here because I don't think it would last. Too many evil eyes. I wish you all the happiness in the world Em because you deserve it. You are one of the sweetest women who has a lot to give.Take care and can't wait for the next upload. Oh, don't worry if your ex doesn't approve of this video. If he hadn't treated you in the way he did you wouldn't have the need to talk about him....simple! your making people aware of things which we all need ❤ so sorry this is long but I'm a talker 😂 from Manchester and you know what we're like 😂 can't shut us up 😂 ❤looking beautiful as always 😊
I discovered you when you did that documentary waaay back and I remember being so happy for you when you were in this relationship!
