I'm really pale & this shit made me darkkkk.😂😂 I just applied the tanner this morning around 8am & it's 9:30pm & I'm super dark. It was my first time applying self tanner & I actually like it.
hiiiii everyone! please keep in mind this video was made in 2016, so about 4 years old when this product first came out. I'm assuming they improved the formula because a lot of you guys say you love it so I have to give it another try! Thanks for all of your comments and recommendations :)
To get rid of the sticky feeling just put some baby powder after playing the tanner and it gets rid of it almost completely and it dosent change the color.
I've been using the deep bronze for years and it comes out dark brown. I wonder if you got a bad bottle. Mine has always dried fast but you do feel sticky. I always follow up with the Jergens 3 day tanner.
Sabrina Scott yeah and she didn’t even bother to show the tan .. all we can see is her shoulders ? She also didn’t show a before or after! Very poor made video!
You got a bad bottle! It makes me DARK and I got LIGHT bronze. Also, mine comes out darker than yours and got a lighter shade. Mine dries almost instantly but I get having that tacky feeling. I love this product, works great for me
Did you shake it first ? I just bought some today and the foam came out pretty dark. The sticky feeling is the glycerin they use as an ingredient, it’s supposed to be moisturizing.
I live in Canada and mine has a color gaurd. I can see exactly where I've applied it. You can also shower lightly after you use it! It wont wash off! Just wait a couple hours It also develops alot more after a few hours
Y'know, for the life of me, I don't understand why Jergens didn't make a medium bronze in this line; however, what I do is that I mix equal parts of the light bronze and the deep bronze together to get medium. Based on the banana-like fragrance, this brings to mind the old Bain de Soleil sunless tanning mousses from the early- to mid-2000s. This mousse also had a slight tint to it.
Honestly, I think the speed to which this dries would really depend on the climate that you live in. For example, if you live in an area with a lot of humidity it's probably going to stay tacky for a while. In my case, I live in the Mojave desert in California where it's very dry and this stuff drai's within a few minutes. By the way, there are more than two colors. They may only offer two colors in the store you purchase it at. Personally, I use the ultra deep bronze which is the darkest color that they have. It can be purchased online and it is much darker.
FYI There is a darker color available. It's Jergins Natural Glow Ultra Deep Bronze. It's just not available in most stores. Also if you do have dry skin especially in areas like your elbows, knees, ankles, feet, toes ect., you probably do want to moisturize those areas about an hour before applying this or any instant self tanner. This is because sometimes the self tanning product will collect in areas where theres dry skin and it will be darker and look patchy. Also you can apply the tanner with a makeup brush or beauty blender or even a double folded sock if you dont any to stain your hands or have a mitt. I'm trying the Jergins Natural Glow in deep bronze at this moment so I'll post back with my thoughts if anyone's interested.
I have the same bottle. And I can barely notice anything either. It’s like the bottle says, it’s a natural glow. Not what I expected. But it was a very easy application. I wish I loved it as much as everyone in the comments did.
I detest the sticky feeling, too! Ewe. I'm naturally tan (think J Lo) and this one works the best for me (deep bronze). But I really do wish that someone made a formula dark enough for we wombmen that are naturally tan-skinned (latina, biracial, etc.). An organic formula would also be awesome, too. I like the new Versa Spa tan machines best. They seem to work best without the added bronzer. For some reason the Versa Spa machine tan by itself -- although a little slow to develop -- lasts a few days longer without the bronzer on top. But yeah, I really like Jergens Natural Glow best for my face and neck, since these are the areas that get the most thorough washing daily in order to remove makeup -- making the spray tan fade fastest in these areas. I'm a big exfoliator in order to keep the wrinkles at bay (a few drops of organic lemon works well, too), and this tends to make my tan fade in the face area even faster. So just a little dab of Jergens on my face and neck at night, or early in the morning, and I'm good to go by time I walk out the door. It lasts for 2 to 3 days, looks natural, and smells good.
I know that this video is a year old but I just got this product and put it on yesterday after I showered and exfoliated with a loofah and at first I thought it looked amazing but as the day went on I started to see it get splotchy and I woke up today to a disaster. I look like I have a skin disease or something. It is SO splotchy and looks like it's crusty in some places. I don't know what I did wrong.. I used my hands like it says it says you can.. it felt like I evenly distributed the product and I didn't even get dressed for like 2 hours after I put it on, which I know wasn't necessary, but I was doing my makeup so I just did it in my towel just to make sure I didn't mess it up.. where did I go wrong?? And how do I get this off now? I look crazy.. The jergens natural glow has never done me dirty like this but I needed something instant and decided to try this. I like the color, I just don't know how this happened.
i’ve been using this product for months now and i half the lighter shade (since i’m really pale i don’t wanna be too dark) and even the lighter shades foam is way darker than that and it also makes me very tan. You most likely got a bad bottle
mine was really streaky after I applied it so I put lotion on to try to smooth it out and it was like moving the tan? like it was moving all over on my body like it wasn’t smoothing it was moving a huge clump of it.... and I not suppose to use lotion with this? I’m very confused I see so many people hype this up and as of right now I don’t get the hype cause it moved all over my body and made me streaky....
How many layers would you say you're wearing in tho video? 😊 Also I tried another drugstore self tanner and on my legs it like sunk into my pores and there was little dots everywhere do you know what caused that or how to prevent it?
I put about 2-3 layers on, since it is really light color, applying multiple layers will be best for better/tanner results. and yess I know what you mean by that! That's always really hard to prevent, especially after exfoliating and shaving before applying self tanner. My best advice would be to wait an hour after you shower. It happens because your pores open up from the steam of your shower, so waiting a while after might help! at least that's what I do! Thanks for watching
xoxoelicexoxo Also to prevent those dots on your body (especially your legs), before you get out of the shower give yourself a cold rinse. The dots are appearing because the pores are open from shaving, exfoliating, hot water, etc. Giving yourself a cold rinse before hopping out of the shower will help close your pores back up. Also, try to wait at least 30 minutes after you shower, shave, and exfoliate before you apply any self tanner. Hope that helps! XO
Sorry if I sound dumb lol but I just wanna know when u do a sunless tan with like a product like this is it temporary or permanent? like does it wash off if u take a shower or does some color stay permanent on u??
i have recently used this same product and it worked really well. I am very light skinned however so it was dark enough for me. It is not permanent but it also doesn't wash off in the shower. It will after about 5 days. and it also depends on if you shave and exfoliate during that time then it will come off sooner. Also, dont forget to exfoliate and shave BEFORE you apply it :)
Have you tried Fake Bake or Bonita Sands? Please answer!!!!! I'm trying to figure out which tanner to get for prom because I want to be really dark, but I can't order them I have to buy them in store so loving tan is out :(( Plus I'm hoping to get a pretty good deal
Mine streaked like crazy. What am i doing wrong? I exfoliated and shaved before applying, I applied with a tanning mitt, I moisturized my dry spots like my knees and my ankles and didnt get wet for over 16 hours. Help?!?
i use this product all the time and your bottle looks like one i bought from amazon (i think its fake).... target/cvs/walgreens sell bottles that come out much darker than that and dries alot quicker
Idk girl. Mine is deep bronze and it 100% has a color guard ... When I shower there's a bronze run off for SURE. Mine dries on my body in 10 minutes and I go in with layers so idk what you be doing 🤣
I am italian, mamma Mia! So my natural skin color isnt as pale as if I was swedish or Norwegian 🤣🤣 But I tried it and et voila it made me darker..you think only girls like this stuff? Well think again..ciaoo
Gotta pick the right product for your skin tone. I have cool skin with yellow undertone, and it’s great for me, but I’ve found a few brands that don’t really look right on me and make me look green.
I'm really pale & this shit made me darkkkk.😂😂 I just applied the tanner this morning around 8am & it's 9:30pm & I'm super dark. It was my first time applying self tanner & I actually like it.
Can you tell me did it wash off when was the next time you toched water
Vanessa Bermudez Hernandez no it doesn’t. It stays about 3-4 showers
her review is from 2016 so i think the product has improved a lot because i really like it
Diana Tribuzio same here! It’s my go to tanner perfect price good smell everything is good about it!
@@Emmaspon how long does a bottle usually last
hiiiii everyone! please keep in mind this video was made in 2016, so about 4 years old when this product first came out. I'm assuming they improved the formula because a lot of you guys say you love it so I have to give it another try! Thanks for all of your comments and recommendations :)
To get rid of the sticky feeling just put some baby powder after playing the tanner and it gets rid of it almost completely and it dosent change the color.
This is a good idea. For me, I'd lightly apply a sheer bronze powder over it.
Mine is darker and has a color guard. So you must have a bad bottle.
Julie Edwards I know right!
Yea same
Same... mine has color guide, not "guard'
This was 2 years ago, maybe they’ve updated the formula!
Same!
I've been using the deep bronze for years and it comes out dark brown. I wonder if you got a bad bottle. Mine has always dried fast but you do feel sticky. I always follow up with the Jergens 3 day tanner.
Chrissy Craft yeah her mousse looks a lot lighter than mine, and mine is light bronze
Chrissy Craft. Yeah she does not know what she's talking about except her high end shit
Sabrina Scott yeah and she didn’t even bother to show the tan .. all we can see is her shoulders ? She also didn’t show a before or after! Very poor made video!
Lolo Clan agreed 👍

No need to be a bitch.
You got a bad bottle! It makes me DARK and I got LIGHT bronze. Also, mine comes out darker than yours and got a lighter shade. Mine dries almost instantly but I get having that tacky feeling. I love this product, works great for me
Taylor do you use it on ur face??
Idk if I should get the light one or dark one? I’m pale but ppl say the light one doesn’t do anything helppp
Did you shake it first ? I just bought some today and the foam came out pretty dark. The sticky feeling is the glycerin they use as an ingredient, it’s supposed to be moisturizing.
i just tried it tonight and for a SUPER pale person, the fact that it doesnt end up super dark at the end is a huge bonus😂
hahaha same!
Abbey Seefried did yours have a colour guard?? And what shade did u use
Which shade did u get?
I think that for being drugstore that's amazing! I thought it would be a total fail 😂 your skin looks very pretty and natural 😍
I know right! its so different for the drugstore! hope more brands follow! thanks girl
I live in Canada and mine has a color gaurd. I can see exactly where I've applied it. You can also shower lightly after you use it! It wont wash off!
Just wait a couple hours
It also develops alot more after a few hours
How do you keep from looking like you’ve got mud on your knees? I liked this except for that.
@@michellehitt1976 moisturizer on your knees first!
It sticks more to dryer skin!
6:15 for the results
Old video ...
But thats weird my jergens is my go-to and it definitely has color guard and is a really deep brown (no orange)
I just staryed using it and I love it!!
What’s better the deep brown or light one?
Did you shake the bottle some people have had troubles because of that
Amber Knutson yes!! Why do people not shake the bottles lol

+Courtney Marie hate to pop your bubble but porse don't "open"
Shiloh Bowen You're joking right?
Do you leave it on till your next shower or do you wash it off 6 hours later?
Abigail Serene i put on before i go to bed and then do a quick rinse the following morning to get rid of the tan lotion smell
Samantha Willner okay so i was planning to do it before bed so when i wake up i just have to rinse it off ?
Anyone have any tips for the smell? Also how often do you guys use it?
There is 2 others but u have to get them online
Thats what I said. There is a darker one called Ultra Deep Bronze
How long does it stay on for or do you re-apply everyday
Ashlyn Wilson you would be reapplying once a week or twice a week
Personally i do every Wednesday
This is orange on me and I'm not a Blondie. I'm so disappointed. L.A. Tan at Wal-Mart is way better and a 4oz bottle is way cheaper.
So if I wanted to be tan for a certain day should I do it the day before?
Aly Rogers I would do it two days before just so that it has a day to settle in and you can fix any spots you missed
Sorry if I sound dumb lol but I just wanna know when u do a sunless tan with like a product like this is it temporary or permanent? like does it wash off if u take a shower or does some color stay permanent on u??

Can anyone tell me if they broke out in a rash by the second

I just used this it's been on for about 4 hours can I shower or should I wait ?
The drying time is so good. Mousse is the best
Thats so weird that you say that.. i use the same one and mine is dark and non sticky..
This product now has instant color and dries much faster. I have yet to find more than 2 shades of it though.
there actually is a darker shade, i think it’s called super deep bronze or something?
Necklace... where is that necklace from? 😍😍
Alexis it's a Kendra Scott necklace
it was actually from Forever21!!
How do you do your back?
you must have a bad one. Because when I shower it does rinse off. You’re trippen. & also it does not have a bad smell.
Mine has a color guard
I use dark it's fab!!!! Santrope on Amazon is the next best tan
Will this work good for dark skin like the med to tan one
Belle Noire I’m extremely pale when the light shade is not effective, if you want something darker I recommend another tanner
What is a color guard?
Mine streaked like crazy. What am i doing wrong? I exfoliated and shaved before applying, I applied with a tanning mitt, I moisturized my dry spots like my knees and my ankles and didnt get wet for over 16 hours. Help?!?
