    please don't feel the need to take town videos that didn't preform well, YT is a fickle place and the algorithm can push your content weeks (heck even months to years) after the fact, it also portraits a falseness of the small channel grind, which most often discourages others that want want to follow learn and model their channels after yours, and when their numbers don't follow yours they quit, its ok to say you had a swing and a miss, that kind of acceptance is what makes good from great, Goodluck on your future G4IJIN, you'll go far !

    • @G4IJIN_VR
      @G4IJIN_VR  2 года назад +3

      I appreciate that a lot! But yeah I just set a couple videos to private not because they didn’t do well, but because I’m still learning what kind of content I want to make for this channel, and I want to provide a consistent kind of value on it.

    RUclips really has a way of recommending me things haha. This was an excellent video!
    Funny enough, the $20k decision you call this, we called the $20k retake 🤣I think at this point, the pressure was building up on both teams. REKT are very clean when it comes to their plays, and they are a team that makes few mistakes if any. Both teams were capitalizing on each others slight mistakes, and during that retake, every engagement to my memory was a 1v1, and the fact that we won it was the real momentum shift to bring us to 11-9.
    Thank you again for the video! This was awesome to see and I hope it gets shared around more!

    We both have split second headshot capability and would trade headshot kills frequently.

    I think the devlopers should look into increasing the fov when spectacting players on flat screen, or maybe just for tournaments. On flat screen the lower fov makes it a little difficult to follow whats happening.

    • @G4IJIN_VR
      @G4IJIN_VR  2 года назад

      It does! But tbh having a flat spectator FOV close to the player FOV makes small details hard to see. I have some reels that don’t look great because I have to zoom in so far to see details that are easy to spot in a flatscreen game. It’s a hard balance.

    • @G4IJIN_VR
      @G4IJIN_VR  2 года назад +1

    • @ChickentNug
      @ChickentNug 2 года назад

      @@G4IJIN_VR Since the release of the quest 2 it's exploded. Just wait for the Quest 3, and I think something similar could happen. We just need more affordable headsets to be released and to be marketed to the public. A lot of people still think VR is the type of thing you need to spend thousands to get into, but in reality it's ~$400.

    • @Justsomerandomweeb121
      @Justsomerandomweeb121 Год назад

      In my opinion, the current VR is still an infant. My ideal PEAK of VR is the one that you control with just your brain (SAO, Bofuri, Overgeared, etc). I'm guessing that VR will start it's rise in competitive gaming if it was developed with a Quantum Computer (which is also being developed and perfected).
      It may sound nonsensical or bs but it was the only conclusion I could think of.

    Guys just use gunstocks, this is just like noobs playing.

    • @G4IJIN_VR
      @G4IJIN_VR  2 года назад +2

      They’re definitely not noobs. Sumatchi has won multiple Pop1 tourneys, chillstep and tarmac have won 6 seasons of pavlov VRML iirc.
      There was one player using a stock at lan, and they weren’t on either of the finalist teams.
      What I have heard from some competitive players regarding stocks is that they trade off speed in exchange for stability, and Vail will moreso favor someone able to land shots quickly rather than pixel precise. But in a game like Onward with more mil-sim-esque elements, the opposite is true.

    • @botyuri-pavlovvr6269
      @botyuri-pavlovvr6269 Год назад

      I use a gunstock with a 2-point sling and I used to play professionally.
      The problem I have with using a gunstock specifically in SND matches is when you need to throw different types of grenades. The gunstock honestly gets in the way making this harder to do accurately and more difficult to get the distance needed for your throws.
      During pistol rounds, most gunstock players move the gunstock to their back which isn't much of an issue for grenades and they can have their off-hand placed at their side for super fast reloads; however, I personally still use a gunstock when using pistols for added stability / accuracy when aiming with such a short barrel.
      Now the Pros that don't use gunstocks have found out that if they turn on virtual stock settings and place their controllers together, one in front of the other even touching controllers together, that they basically get the same effect in-game as having an actual gunstock.
      I still prefer using an actual gunstock, but I am not as good of a player at SND as my friend Chillst3p.
      Put us in a DM or TDM where there's not as much strategy and grenades going on and I can go toe-to-toe with him.

    these prize pools are a joke. What is the issue here? even 1 major VC fund can help with bigger pools. Hopefully as global economy recovers from the quantitative tightening of today in the next 2-3 years we will have money being poured into experimental and innovative landscapes again

      I think it’ll be more in season 1, imo this tournament was held to show the potential of the game before it had an audience. While I wish top teams could be more rewarded for their skill, it doesn’t really make sense to give $100K or so to a team only a few hundred people are watching play.
