sea pickle in the Chinese version is named "海泡菜“, "泡菜" literally means "kimchi".
"骷髅" means "skeleton", so "骷髅skull" means "skeleton skull".
"barrel" in Chinese is "木桶", which literally means "wooden bucket" now you know why it's translated into "bucket".
"镐" means "pickaxe".
the shears translated in Chinese literally means "scissors".
"弩" means crossbow.

if you understand chinese, some of them actually makes sense why they would be translated to the translated type, like the woods, terracotta, dirts, redstone, the of the jungle(lol) and spider eye, and a couple others. I'll be interested on how the sentence structure would be as Chinese sentence structure is quite different. My favourite is leadership for the lead for some reason. it's just funny how forcing something to follow you becomes 'leadership'. makes it sound so peaceful

Maybe he's trying to whoosh other people (even then it make no sense talk about racism here, he's the first reply) but it could be that he's a new learner and thus it's probably better if he type his native language (especially if it's English) so that there's less confusion.

@@ninithecatgirl what do you mean? From what I could tell as a Cantonese speaker, it is put through google translate. How he renamed the items, I don’t know, whether a font like you said or a resource pack or a mod, but the words are definitely put through google translate or some other translation application.

@@ninithecatgirl that was the point. He took the names of minecraft items, put it in google translate, then translated it back to English. Google translate is weird sometimes, for example the dragon head become faucet because dragon head = 龍頭 which also means faucet, so it became that when translated back. The point of my original comment is that I am Chinese so I understood why some of them became like that.
