      Tbh this is pretty solid range of motion, only flaw is that he isnt touching his chest with the bar. Sometimes adding 50% more weight beats full proper form, especially for natural bodybuilders(ofc im not saying that Sam is natural)

      @@makerudji6682 uh no, there is no situation where weight beats proper form. there are ZERO exceptions to this, and natural bodybuilders need more time to recover so you actually just contradicted yourself because they'd have MORE reason to be safe and perform the movement as correct as possible, joint and tendon health is very important and bad form is notorious for joint issues, this is all common sense...

      keeping constant tension is better for hypertrophy than going full ROM and locking out and pausing after each rep, he knows what hes doing

      @@bigchopcards2395 11 working sets is not a lot lol especially since he's enhanced. during his bulk he hit one muscle group per day. so for his chest day he would have 3 heavy compound sets, 3-4 incline pressing sets where he drops the weight and focuses on form/contraction, and the rest of the sets are fly variations, 11 sets in total which can be done (not including warmups) in 45 minutes to 1 hour.

      @@JS-rg7vo Yeah the tension is great, maybe even better than bouncing it off your chest but he could get lower while maintaining tension. Rn my max flat bench is 250lbs (so way weaker than Sam) but I'd probably be able to get 300lbs (with a lift off) if I did my rep or 2 like this.
      Now that I think about it, that actually is a good strategy to get your body used to high weights.

Tension without stretch gets you zero gains, the only reason sam is so big is because he's doped out of his fucking mind.

      He used to remove his cap while doing bench in some videos.
      He failed the rep and did not have a spotter. As he was doing incline, the easiest way to do it is to lean forward and throw.
