My sister, Sheila J, has to be Julie's #1 fan. When she was in high school she saved her money and took my mom to NY from Florida to see Julie and Carol at Lincoln Center. After school we moved to LA and Sheila J attended EVERY single taping of Julie's television show. She was fortunate to meet Julie and Carol several times. Awesome talents!
sure Julie looked very pretty (i'm her huge fan) but i think Carol looked adorable too, and she still do! I love that they are best friends and they can work so perfect together!

Actually, she was referring to the Palace Theater on Times Square in New York. The acts she mentioned, the Dolly Sisters and Nora Bayes, were legendary stars of vaudeville and Broadway in the early 20th century and had major success in appearances at the Palace.
