I’ve been selling on eBay since 2019 and today I’m shipping my first glass framed print. This was super helpful and I did exactly as described. Hoping for a great turn out! Thank you for taking the time! ❤
Thanks for this. I am having to ship my first framed photo ever, and I was wondering how do people do it without it cracking/breaking in transit, since I've never ordered one. This answers all the questions I had on it.
I need to mail a framed art for Mother's day and I was considering sending it without the frame, thinking there was no way to send it without the glass arriving broken. Thank you so much for the video, I'll be following your instructions.
I found the Easter egg at the end! Also: very useful, thanks. This is pretty much how I normally do it, sometimes adding foam corners for larger ones. I have gotten compliments on my packing, but never complaints. Found your vid while trying to determine how much tape to use on the glass.
I don’t think it’s excessive at all. I’m terrified of shipping my new product in frames because I’m fearful of glass breakage. Take it from me some of these shipping companies have zero respect for fragile packages. I used to work for one so I know! So the more insulation to ship the better! Great video thank you!!
Wish I would’ve found this video sooner! Have sent out many framed pictures and 4 (that I know of) have arrived to their destination broken. 😭 Thanks for sharing!
I like to put tape over the glass, then wrap in little bubble wrap, then wrap with big bubble wrap, with cardboard corners or extra thick bubble wrap, and then cardboard sheets on the front and back. I’m insanely paranoid about breakage and it served me well.
Coty Schwabe that’s what I’m going to do now! I worry every single time I send a package and apparently wasn’t cautious enough. So glad I found your video! Thank you 😊
Thanks for this as I'm getting ready to ship my original artwork as a gift. Can you use crumpled newspaper to fill the gap in the box? (after bubble-wrapping the painting)
Probably, I’ve never tried. I usually put cardboard or foam board between the bubble wrapped painting and the box so that it was all flat items touching, nothing left an imprint on the painting
Honestly I don’t remember. Usually smaller paintings, like two feet or less, are under $100. Just depends on where it’s going. The size of the painting is the biggest price factor.

Thank you! This was helpful. I appreciate hearing your reasons for each packaging decision.
Humbled. Glad it was helpful.

From someone else who is paranoid about shipping breakable items and a fellow overtaper.

Checked, and I don't see any Easter eggs. What am I missing?

Thanks very helpful. Sounds like you had a cold. Hope you feel better
Great video very informative
Recently I packed the glass frame in the same way but it delivered broken. Please help me what should I do now. I have to send 3 more glass frames.

Great Video with great tips! Thanks!
Thank you for the tips!!x
where am i able to purchase the bubble wraps?
I strongly recommend a thin layer of plywood to help prevent puncture or bending damage. Bubble wrap and cardboard aren't enough.
Wondering where you get your frames at a good price? Do you add plexi sheet to front or use glass? Thanks.
I buy them from Michael’s when they’re on sale. I have used both. Normally the more expensive the painting, the more ornate the frame.
I have a question! If I wrap the frame enough could it be strong enough to withstand being shipped in a bubble mailer?
I wouldn't take the risk and would prefer to send the frame in a box.
Thank you! Very helpful !
Can I just go pick up those USPS boxes from the post office?
Thanks for the tips! How much did it cost you to ship this, by the way?

What is the solution if you don't want to use bubble wrap
What size is the box? is it the Small Flat Rate Box from usps?
I think it was.
Looks like a medium flate rate to me...
So you don't have problems shipping glass via USPS? I thought UPS or Fedex was better on both handling and claims.
Possible but the rates for me were 2 to 3 times the amount.
thanks
What size is the box?
I believe it was 24 inches by 36, or something like that. It’s been a while...
Did your wife sneakily flip all of us the bird in the very last second of the video?
Very good since I sell framed memorabilia
Very nice presentation except painters tape shouldn’t be used on non-glare glass. That’s just a note for anyone who has that kind of glass to ship.
1. Painters tape
Hey. I don’t have a wife to help me wrap my picture frame. Do I have to get married to do this or can I just borrow yours?
Soooo much plastic :(
Unfortunately, yes. But bubble wrap is especially good for shipping paintings and glass. I think it’s better than styrofoam.
Wanted to watch but the overhead camera angle makes one dizzy
Understandable.
Thank you so much!
