- Another galactic empire tribute with Sabaton rise of evil. Palpatine's rise to power always fascinated me. Orchestrating a war to eliminate his opponents and manipulate the people of a dying republic. This has to be my longest video though.

In all reality the empire all ready had balance and everything was established till the rebels came in and started to blow things up. So technically the rebs are terrorists.

both sides have evil sides to the story, Rebels who kill unarmed Imperial Civilian personel for example, Imperials who don't follow the normal racist beheavior, Imperials who kill innocent civilians to get the rebels to defend those civilians. And so on. Darth sidious' plan for the death star was twofold, to break the rebelion and any futher ones but also to protect the Empire from the alien threat from beyond wild space.

Not me. I've waited for order 66 my entire life and when it happened...I think I had a nerdgasm. It was beautiful to see the jedi vanish and to see Palpatine squeeze the living shit out of them. Too bad Palpatine had a bad day at the office over Endor, oh well we all have a bad day at the office sometimes. :D

Being addicted to evil characters is relatively normal. Being evil seems so much easier than being good all time. A villain doesn't feel any regret or compassion. On the other hand, a hero wants to stick to the morals and the standards being the idol and role model to all kinds of people, since the hero depends on adoration and admiration. A villain wants to strike fear and terror into his opponent's heart or into his victim. A villain doesn't care at all about adoration or admiration. That's the reason, why we love villains and evil people more than an actual hero or superman type of guy.

Well, Palpatine's rise to power was based off Hitler's own
Actually, it resembles more to Augustus Caesar's who pushed his opponent Mark Antony to Civil War which helped Augustus, to concentrate great power in his hands and ultimately, after defeating Antony, transform the Roman Republic into the Roman Empire with himself as Emperor (or _Princeps_ to be specific).
No palpatine is a politician, not a veteran.
He can be based in both: the jedis are based in the templars, the samurais and the warriors of celt mythology.

You obviously never listened to the lyrics. The First Order was a portion of the Imperial Remnant that refused to accept the Galactic Concordance (the Star Wars equivalent of the Treaty of Versailles) and they had to rebuild their army.
Well to be fair there's more film material to work with for the empire.
