Using a Hammer to Fix a Dome Light that Won't Shut Off

This car was brought to me with a dome light that won't shut off. You won't believe what I found and how I fixed it. Hint: it required a hammer.

Thank you. My car has a different issue. The driver side lock doesn’t lock with the remote. We get around by doing it manually from the back door. Is there any easy fix to it ? The dealer wants too much money to fix it.☹️
