Hey! You guys are so cute. Thanks for sharing your experience in Dublin. We're heading to Ireland this summer with our 2.5 and 4.5 year old. While I've been there a few times, it will be our first time travelling internationally with our kids (and basically our first trip with them) and I'm totally freaked out - ha! This video put me at easy reminding me that we're probably going to have a really good time. :)

Dublin is an amazing capital city. It’s a big town. It’s a tech capital of Europe silicondocks it’s pretty amazing area. But it’s become so international different races, different ethnicities all blending into this unique Irishness bringing their own flavor.

Dont forget U.S bars are completely different to pubs in Ireland snd the UK. Most are family friendly, or suggest kids leave around 8.30pm

@@colinandmeg As i said above kids aren't allowed in pubs after 9 pm anyways by law .When that law was ennacted there wasn't any great objections, but folk musicians were quietly concerned as folk/trad music is closely associated with pubs and usually later than 9pm,it would make it more difficult to pass on the tradition when children were no longer present.

The pub culture is very different it’s family oriented. It’s community oriented. You do have to be out with children by 830 or 9 o’clock?
I wish I had known you before you went there I would’ve recommended 2 restaurants Elephant Castle or Boxty House.
I love Boxty House, because I love Boxty, which is a potato pancake made with mashed potatoes, shredded raw potato, flour, milk. They can be made savory, sour cream, scallions, or almost like a crepe and you wrap food in them.
It looks like you had a great time

Children can't be in pubs past 9 o clock anyway by law.pubs in ireland and over in britain are not just places to drink alcohol they are the focal point of social life
