Yep yields definitely went up, the lowest for 3070 was 0.0007 ETH a day, when the network hashrate went under 1GGh it went up to 0.0008 and now its 0.001, 30% increase over the low point.
RPM awesome review and you are correct, most people think I spent a ton on all my ASIC’s they value allot but I spent less than $3k for any of them, even my A10 pro/+ was only $2800 and S17+’s $1700 and S19 $2900 including customs fees, my D7’s, under $2k, same goes for my KD5’s and Z15’s .. then the bull run and everything I owned went crazy up in value, just like GPUs ASIC values goes up and down, you got to buy at the right time or later you can’t afford it and buying at high crazy price you may not ROI quickly! Just know when you buy hardware on a down market ROI is normally 2+ years nothing wrong with that, no more 3-6 months ROI lol
I like the gold, I'm just not an asic miner. I like the versatility of the GPU's and it gives me more options to run other algos which is key since I'm a house miner.
I don't really like to be at the mercy of the manufacturer when it comes to which algorithm i can mine or not. With a GPU, we can potentially mine so many different algorithms. I can see the appeal of specialized hardware but i can also see all the limits and downsides. Enjoy the rest of your week my brother and thanks for the nice reviews as always
Agreed, the problem i have with asic mining is that you are relying on manufacturer to release updates in the future. With most products (not just mining) they eventually discontinue support because they want you to buy the latest hardware. With initial cost so high, and being locked in to whatever firmware is provided, I'm happy to stick with gpu mining. At least there are other uses for gpus and they don't become paperweights (assuming they still work).
Hey GPU heads. When are you getting sent some of these miners dude? Hopefully they didn't forget about ya. You deserve these Ipollo miners just as much as the other guys!!!
I bought a G1 Mini from Belay a few days ago... I've been trying to fade away from ETH Mining and have been going for things like cheap used Goldshells from ebay and have been getting the box versions for $200-$300.... I've been thinking about picking up a few more Ipollo miners.
Its just hard to like a product that asks a premium price to then tell you there is a limited time to use it, along with the limited algo. That said, I did pick up a 3070ti FE at Best Buy this week.
This is my 2nd bear run and and asics will go down, WAYYYY down, before they go up .Gpu's is the way to go HANDS DOWN.... Unless you want an expensive paper weight...
Hello, I have a jasminer X2-1U, and you comment (7:37) that on a certain date, it will not be possible to mine more than it will have to be mined in ETH Classic, but I do not understand, I thought that buying the miner could leave its mining for a long time, is there any alternative like inserting a memory into the sd input and continue mining? Can you explain me please?
Thank you for keeping up on giving us reviews and info for new ASICs. I still prefer GPU mining, even though the efficiency of an ASIC is very attractive. There is still a fun computer building element to GPU mining that I just don't see with plugging in an ASIC. Cool to plug something in and just make money, but I am more in it for the fun and feeling like I am building computers again. Keep the content coming though, love hearing about all of it.
Hello! The JASMINER 1U-C is an ETC model with a guaranteed ETC hash rate range of 450MH/s±10%. Unfortunately, the ETH mining hash rate on a 1U-C device is not guaranteed.
I have a couple gpu rigs getting about 330mh/ for 950w on etc. So when I saw Ipollo's flash sale I jumped on it. I'm lucky to live in a place with $.0325 / KWh Just hope the market doesn't get much worse.
I mine BTC and know 0 about ETH but am interested in trying it out. So forgive my ignorance... this will mine 2 coins basically. ETH will be worthless to mine sooner or later when it is POS which means everyone will have to mine ETC with it. Will that prevent the price of this from going up if you can only mine ETC with it? Plus the whole DAG thing? How does that translate into it all as far as price. by the time the machine price might be up... would it be so close to being obsolete with the DAG that it doesn't matter anymore?
The price of ASIC miners never really makes sense (new). They are not complicated, the cases are simple, the chips are mass produced, the boards. they are assembled by machines (mostly). I believe that the costs to manufacture is a fraction of the MRSP. The only thing I can think that would be the costly part is the original design, prototyping and software design & update. Anyone have any other thoughts?
Hi everyone! Quick question; so there's an iPollo v- something nearby our place and it's an open network (Wi-Fi) there's no security whatsoever, i connected to it and it works. Is it safe??😭 I've been using it for a while without vpn. Now everytime i'm connecting to it i'm using vpn. Everytime i'm googling "what does ipollo do" there's no result. It's all about Apollo. I'd appreciate it guys if you have an answer. Advanced thank you!❤️ btw i rlly don't have any knowledge abt this. I can't find results in Google so i went here.
These will remain profitable on ETC when GPU's won't be able to stand a chance... also good for people with limited power to add more hashrate with a smaller electrical requirement.
You are not taking into account that all of the current ASIC's on ETH which is supposedly around 40% of the total ETH network, is going to have to go somewhere to make money. The ETC network isn't currently generating enough income to support 1/50th of this hashpower. Sure if you go there now, you will be profitable, but todays figures are not the same as post ETH2 figures. The game is going to change considerably. Remember, mining only generates income based on the coin value and transactions on its network. Throwing tons of hashpower on a network would devalue the coin, so the difficulty would increase to balance rewards to a similar amount they are currently, which as I said, isn't that great now, so even more so when ETH goes POS.
is wifi working for you on these? despite all settings matching router, I can't get my ipollo's to connect via wifi. they work fine on ethernet, though.
I’m extremely bullish on crypto long term. Especially ETC. I bought 3 of the Jasminer X4-1Us. 1560+mh/s at 720W and if prices drop further I’ll buy another. LONG TERM thinking.

Ethereum classic is starting to interest me. I don't want to miss out on the next big coin so having an Apollo miner yielding coins on the side would be nice!
I am looking at purchasing a few s19 pros this month. I’d love to buy them from crypto miner Bros or belay. Is there any chance I can talk about this with you before spending several thousand dollars?
I know filming videos from an iPhone is your "style" but you really should look into a GoPro strapped to your head so you can do things with your hands. A good minute or two of every video is you just fumbling around with one hand. Would be much more professional production quality
In my opinion the KD Box Pro is the better buy at $999.00 USD. You could buy 3 kd boxes and long term make a killing on Kadena if you mine and hodl. Kadena is less risky if you ask me. Even the Mini Dodge Pro is the better buy at $259.00 USD. The dodge miner isn't as profitable but an efficient machine for what it does at the current price. At $0.17 per KW you would make $3.99 a day with 3 KD Box Pros at current market price or $3.88 with the V1 mini. What's the better buy in your opinion? I used asic miner value to compare fyi. The data shows the KD box is the better machine if you believe in the project long term. I don't support ETH or ETC personally so i wouldn't purchase any asic machine for them.
Where have you seen either of those machines for those prices? I'll go buy them. Lowest for both those machine I hzve seen is double what you've mentioned above and that is buying them used on ebay.
Good stuff, if I could only afford one.... I'll take 5 of those $50 L3+s please 🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully this cycles hardware prices will keep going down so I can get prepared for the next bull run with the small amount of funds I have to invest...
Quick question: So does this mean with a 3.6 GB (the cheapest V1 Mini Classic) ipollo miner I could only mine ETC until 2024 and then my miner would no longer work ? I'm not sure what this DAG size means, I'm fairly new into any of this, just researching and wanting to start small
Buying ASIC eth miners is financial suicide. They will never ever reach ROI. Sure you can go to ETC, but that market is going to become break even at best for years when it comes to paying just for power from the income. Zero chance of mining ETC for any profit, run the numbers, they don't stack up. I wouldn't run one for free.
2+ years break even on this thing at current ETH profitability, no thanks. I'd maybe consider buying one at the MSRP of a 3080 and thats being generous.
ipollo isn't the most unproven, random new chinese brand on the market, i promise. let's go invest thousands in their brand new products! even if you wanted an etc asic (which is a bad idea until we see how the eth merge does), the jasminer x4-q is a far better purchase than these ipollos

What hashrate does it get on etc? Does it get the same hashrate and power draw on both coins?
My jasminer 450 only hashes at 130 to 200Mh on ETH but on ETC it hashes at 440+. Is this because of the diff. bomb?
