Good morning. I feel your pain about frozen water. Winters where I live usually bring temperatures around 50 below. Just a tip… put a tee in your water line just above ground level. Open and drain it when you are not there. Also, wrap your heat tape around your water line instead of running it straight up and down and put on foam insulation over the heat tape.
