Intercepting them over a civilian area may be considered a war crime
But you seem to have missed the bit where the russian MoD admitted that they hit the missile with their own air defence so that would make it a russian war crime if it was a war crime at all

On FAB-3000 strikes precision. 3 of 4 Published strikes are public schools buildings constructed between 1950( first strike) and 1970 ( 3- rd strike). That is sufficient to understand why FAB 300 were used, why buildings were relatively intact after and why these bombs have "missed". Anyone who studied soviet cold war history would know that every single public school in USSR had an reinforced underground bunker large enough to accommodate entire school people and any extra people happened to be around. It was well known and trained during civil defence drills. These bunkers were designed to shelter people during potential nuclear strike and were equipped with air filtering, airtight blast doors, had water reserves and should have some food reserves. So these bombs were used as bunker busters basically. - Schools were usually made of solid bricks with armour reinforced walls thickness of about 900 mm- 1000 mm. -

The guy who gets hit by the drone had no weapons and sneakers on , he was probably a prisoner and the AFU targeted him . There are dozens of videos were the UA kill their own soldiers if they try to surrender , I don't think he was a Russian soldier . The Russian one had no problem in killing him , not one second .

Then I'll give you the tip to read what "Little Russia" means. All maps from 1354 show that there was never a state called Ukraine until 1991. It was always just one region like Tuscany in the USA or Bordeaux in France. Many maps over the centuries show this.
Take a look at the map from England from 1850 who they were fighting against in the Crimea... even on the English map there was no Ukraine to be found. It was always Russia.

@@forpoczta The airport is 2 miles away lol look at a map, stop repeating lies. Precision? Helloooo? Nobody uses anything that misses by 2 miles. If you want to easily debunk this comment yourself a simple google search for how precise ATACAMS is you'll find it's within "10-50 meters" . The beach was the target. With cluster munitions, so they have ran out of regular ATACAMS and are using the war crimes missiles now.
You are paid by the state department so will respond 1 of 3 ways
1)You will lie and say Russia has committed war crimes so "it's okay for a little war crimes" in an effort to straw-man.
      2) You will say the missile was intercepted at lower missile intercept range and tumbled, perfectly, with a 1 in a hundred million chance of hitting the target of the beach perfectly. Absurd.

To get there on the same line as the airport, the rocket had to be launched from somewhere in the Istanbul area.
The attacked beach is much south and west of the airfield.

Ukraine lost about 20 km² of territory the other day. The question is is this an anomaly, or will this be the new normal? Before Russia was taking between two and 6 km² a day. So if it shifts towards 20km2 then I see this as a sign that the UA is starting to unwind.

    • @eleveneleven572

As they break through eastern defences the ones to the West are not as good and eventually will cease to exist.
Add that to loss of manpower, demoralisation, ammo, leadership and it's folding now.
It will end with a rout, surrender and Zelensky and the oligarchs will be stuffing suitcases with cash, gold and jewelry and skipping the country.
Maybe, then , the ordinary Ukrainians will realise how they've been used by the Little Hats and MIC.

Not sure the reason for the poke and prod strategy is to stay inside the friendly support bubble--self-propelled guns exist, as well as SP-AA, and sitting on your ass means you might be struck by a HIMARS etc. I think it's more because small-unit actions are the only manoeuvres which a) cannot be predicted by observing large troop movements, and so can be done by surprise, and b) are small enough that losses due to concentrated support fires will not be high, so that these small-scale attacks can be sustained over time, and the tempo can be maintained to keep the initiative.

Willy, I really like you man, but listen, the people in Kiev need to grasp something, their native air defence which was substantial before the war is all but gone, and a few Patriot batteries might be useful to defend some targets, but they are just point defence useful for an airfield etc they aren't able to defend an entire country, and now, the Russians will systematically work the energy grid... it has been patch repaired, but it isn't anything like as robust as it was in 2022... Once those cities start to overload the grid during winter, energy transmission will go completely. It's a horror story waiting to be told. We better get ready to absorb millions of refugees from the West of Ukraine this year.

    • @miriamweller812
      @miriamweller812 4 дня назад +12

      That's not how it works.
Attacker losing more than defend is, when you got the same equipment on both sides, but one side got the advantage of a build up defense.
Defending meanwhile plays zero role when it comes to bomardement, in contrary, bombardement mostly means that the defender got problems, since the point of a defense is to be quite unmoving - what makes it easier to bombard.
Range (and quantity of range weaponry of course) played always a quite crucial role in warfar, going up from melee where a spear is better than a sword, especially when it comes to mass combat, then of course bows able to rain havoc upon an enemy and today it's even worse, with weapon systems firing on you from beyond the horizon.
While NATO (and it's NATO, not Ukraine) can fire some ATACMS and cruise missiles here and there with equal range as Russian systems, there is an obvious lack of mass, while Russia got many times more, plus of course the overwhelming mass of FAB bombarding, what is more brutal than any ATACM or cruise missile and with 100 times the quantity plus there is near to no chance to intercept glide bombs, so while 90% of NATO missiles get destroyed before hitting something, 100% of those FABs get through. And those are a pillar on their own. Russiad also got way more missiles AND drones.
