I agree with not uninstalling the exhaust. Quite easy if you are patient and have hinged sockets and spanners and a socket extension.

This was really helpful. I've done mine today. I hung the header up with a luggage strap as per another suggestion to save removing the oxygen sensor and also unbolted the horn.
The plastic blanking plug will unscrew quite easily if you push an Allen key from behind.
I used a breaker bar to loosen the torx engine screws. Retightening them was scary. I set it back to 90nm as I wondered if it was ever going to click, then increased it to 105nm for the first bolt. Cheers for the video! Bob, UK.

Just fitted a set of these Triumph bars on a Street Scrambler 900. I found the O2 sensor doesn’t have to come off and the exhaust can be hung out of the way quite easily with a cable tie.

Can anyone speak to the effectiveness of these? Do they do a good job of protecting the bike? I want to practice pivot turns but feel like every time I drop the bike, something breaks. These don’t seem to hold up the same as “true” ADV bikes.
