for upcoming updates I have some further improvement-suggestions 1. I really would look forward to use these buttons also in other views for selection of the right now controlled parameter of the big rotary knob. 4. Especially when you look on to the screen in Matrix View, when you see your Plugintrack and a touch on it does not let you open the settings for it. You then need to lookdown, search for the EDIT and Track select button and only then you can open the settings. 5. Faster Arrangement-View call A Button kombination (shortcut) which can open the arrangement view immiediately . 6. Thank you so much Akai!! I was really hoping we would get the new effects and instruments as well, after seeing the last update for MPC. You guys have been doing such amazing work!
This is an amazing update!!! The ONE thing it really needs is to be able to go from one project to another live so you can perform an hour or two set with it. If you made it more stable and added this feature, the Force would be unstoppable.
Thats a major one thing, im contemplating buying the force but going from one project to another is important. What is the average load time for a project . Cheers
really yall bring disk streaming to the Force before the MPC? We have been asking for this before the Force was even out? Thanks AKAI for these dope updates but come on with this one?
This is starting to look like a better prospect than the MPC. At least, for those whom prefer a more DAW like workflow (as opposed to the MPC workflow).
Great Videos ‼️ Quick Questions, 🔴1. can the Force receive Program Changes that would change the session or song project ❓ 🔴2. Can most controls and on board push buttons on screen and physical buttons be controlled from outside controllers via CCs, SYSEX....ect❓
love my force. I wish there were a few quality of life tweaks like explode drum programs to seperate tracks and more flexibility with the time signatures and count in. im working around it for the most part and still having a blast learning how it works.
I have Korg nanoKontrol Midi controller. It works fine, and capture the volume controls for Hydrasynth, and Yamaha Genos on the Force. But the Polybrute is controlling it's own volume now. Before the update the Force was controlling the Polybrute volume, but once the NanoKontrol takes over the Polybrute takes over. However the slider on the Force moves, but just doesn't do anything to the volume. If I don't save the Learned Midi control, and turn off the Force, and back on again the Force controls the Polybrute again, but the nanoKontrol has not been saved so I am back to square 1.
This is what I've been wanting for literally 20 years. It's basically a standalone Linux hardware version of Ableton Live, optimized for hands-on use to be even more "live", with a bunch of nice synths and effects included, plus the best of the MPC world's fantastic sample-based features for drums, keys, and chops. I ordered one last week and it should be here any day now. I'm really looking forward to the workflow... it's dramatically faster and easier than what I've been doing. I'll probably sample the best parts of my other gear and then sell most of it, keeping only the Force and a couple of my favorite instruments... which should easily pay for the Force and then some. Like, I'm not gonna need my OP-1 or Digitakt any more... this does both of their jobs better.
@@subiesojourner777 Yes, the Force runs Linux. It can also have community add-ons installed, like the Mockba mod, for people who want to add extra features. A big one is the ability to connect and transfer data with ssh. There are also midi daemons and various utilities people added. It's really mod-friendly.
MPC needs the arrangement window like the force for better control of the arrangement of beats. Will really add a new dimension to mpc production. Song mode is not really a visual way of arrangement, I know it’s historical to mpc but let’s make things better rather than holding on to the old school iconics that don’t improve ergonomics.
@AkaiProVideo curious with the model 12.... is there a way to assign to the master output channels (11&12 i assume)? getting strange feedback when trying to process live vocals, wondering if that's the solution....
I was on the verge of buying this a couple of years back, but I went for octatrack instead! I love octatrack, but this update made me regret not buying it! This Christmas I’ll get it!
I’m glad to see Force users got Odysey, Melotron, and Selina. I’m hoping this means One, Live, Live II and X users will get disk streaming in their next update (which I hope is a 3.0 update for many reason).
@@CodySmiley I didn’t say the One has an hdd. I expected that I could choose the disk (like the “D” in SD). My BlackBox streams from SD so why would it have to be an hdd? Also, I put an SSD in my Live2, so IT doesn’t have an hdd either, could I not stream from IT?
@@EverettVinzant If disc streaming comes to MPC, it will work in the same way as in Force. They will not make a special version of the software for MPC One, in addition, in One the USB controller is version 2.0, which means it does not allow high speeds.
@@CodySmiley I’ve streamed audio over USB 2.0 (AGAIN THE BLACKBOX DOES THIS), in Linux AND Windows… Plus, it would be based on the driver at the OS level. Since the OS of the MPC One is the same as Live, Live 2, X, etc… (Linux) and ALL the storage devices in Linux are represented by a file… I’m still not quite understanding why you think this would be a special function for the One or why USB 2.0 matters… It all looks the same to the OS.
Does anyone know if they fixed the time stretching ? The old Force software was not able to produce good sound taking a drum loop from 120 to 125 for example...
So that's eight audio tracks direct to disc or from? So if you wanted to load a 24-hour file from your hard drive to one track you could? 32 channel mixer? This routed to eight audio tracks? And supports up to 30 USB MIDI controllers?
Thank you so much for this update, but we now ask you, adding a multi-band parametric equalizer. This will allow you to make needle filtering, it is better to make a mixer, making mastering under the reference. It would be ideal if the Equalizer is based on the type H-EQ Hybrid Equalizer (Waves). Thank you.
How about a midi controller with a 64 step button sequencer layered above the keyped. That I can push a step and then a key or a chord and have it play on that step...that would be super quick way to work...also a narrow screen right on top of the keyped that can display notes etc....now that would be a epic midi controlled.
Can anyone help me? When I try to use my class compliant Focusrite 18i20 with the Force, I'm unable to record my external synths in Overdub mode. It's get it right the first time or delete and try again, which is useless for my workflow. Record mode is set to "overdub," it simply won't do it. Any tips? I'd hate to have to return this. I was excited at the prospect, but boy it ain't intuitive.
Will all of these effects be in my daw when I export the file? Is akai going to make a daw that we can use all of the things we do on force into an actual master recording?

This is an amazing update!!! The ONE thing it really needs is to be able to go from one project to another live so you can perform an hour or two set with it. If you made it more stable and added this feature, the Force would be unstoppable.
dude i agree
Need two Forces ;)
Thats a major one thing, im contemplating buying the force but going from one project to another is important. What is the average load time for a project . Cheers
Put everything in one project
No, the Deluge can do it.... The Force should be able yo as well. @@new.romance999
I don't know sh*t about FORCE...but that intro got me feeling like you can defeat Thanos with it .
Well you can at least defeat Emperor Palpatine with it.... lol
is it possible to use a DC coupled (or CV dedicated) class compliant soundcard as extra CV ports ?
e.g. an Expert Sleepers ES8/9 module
absolutely smashed it guys, great work!
Awsome, we just need the note probability (like ableton or elektron) and we’ll be there!
Amazing job
Hey. Just updated the Force and says that for using the new instuments i have to download the files... But where are that files???? I dont find them
Could you please tell me the title of the song playing at 5:05 of the video? Thank you very much
really yall bring disk streaming to the Force before the MPC? We have been asking for this before the Force was even out? Thanks AKAI for these dope updates but come on with this one?
Perhaps they’re still testing it out?
Be eazy It’s coming.
@@AveMcree it's coming in November according too a beta tester who ran his mouth too much lol
Akai run ish!
This is starting to look like a better prospect than the MPC. At least, for those whom prefer a more DAW like workflow (as opposed to the MPC workflow).
Great Videos ‼️
Quick Questions,
🔴1. can the Force receive Program Changes that would change the session or song project ❓
🔴2. Can most controls and on board push buttons on screen and physical buttons be controlled from outside controllers via CCs, SYSEX....ect❓
Great update! Waiting on these to get to the MPC boxes. Disc streaming, and new automation features especially.
Arrange view and MIDI clips on the MPC would make me so happy…
So geil. Und das alles gibt's kostenlos als Update. Ich liebe meine Force.👍
Yeeeees. This is sick. Thank you Akia. :)
love my force. I wish there were a few quality of life tweaks like explode drum programs to seperate tracks and more flexibility with the time signatures and count in. im working around it for the most part and still having a blast learning how it works.
Nice!
Too use the vocal effects do I plug a mic directly into the force or into my zoom mixer?
When mixing with the Model 12 can you track out the individual stems or can you only bounce the Model 12 mix as a 2 track?
Either, you can submix up to 32 channels.
Is the OS on the Force, Linux?
@@subiesojourner777 Yes, the Force runs Linux. It can also have community add-ons installed, like the Mockba mod, for people who want to add extra features. A big one is the ability to connect and transfer data with ssh. There are also midi daemons and various utilities people added. It's really mod-friendly.
@@ToyKeeper Thanks for the info, I had no idea. I'm a big Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) user.
Class compliant audio feature is amazing!
Does it offer live stems separation nowadays for audio recorded samples in the Akai Force?
That midimix is a cool piece of kit.
Thank you‼ 🙏🏾
Yeah! Time to put the Force again on the table...after a long time. Great!
hello @AkaiProVideo !
Can we now import an ableton multitrack arrangement which is really long (band show almost 1h30) with differents tempos ??? thx
How many clips can you chain together? What is the max clips number? I would need the most for MIDI drum clips.
@AkaiProVideo curious with the model 12.... is there a way to assign to the master output channels (11&12 i assume)? getting strange feedback when trying to process live vocals, wondering if that's the solution....
Well then...any questions? Wow! These firmware updates are killin' it! TY Akai, .TYVM.
Super stoked for this! Even before this update the Force was a great value. Probably going to sell my Live 2 now.
What if...
u can download the Force software on ur computer like the MPC software and u are able to control it with for example APK40 MKII.
I was on the verge of buying this a couple of years back, but I went for octatrack instead! I love octatrack, but this update made me regret not buying it! This Christmas I’ll get it!
Let's invade the clubs and festivals !
Yes sir
Can you save patterns for recall? Can you input your own chords?
I’m glad to see Force users got Odysey, Melotron, and Selina. I’m hoping this means One, Live, Live II and X users will get disk streaming in their next update (which I hope is a 3.0 update for many reason).
One don't have hdd. I waiting for Arranger.
@@CodySmiley you can plug up a hard drive via usb right now
@@CodySmiley I’ve streamed audio over USB 2.0 (AGAIN THE BLACKBOX DOES THIS), in Linux AND Windows… Plus, it would be based on the driver at the OS level. Since the OS of the MPC One is the same as Live, Live 2, X, etc… (Linux) and ALL the storage devices in Linux are represented by a file… I’m still not quite understanding why you think this would be a special function for the One or why USB 2.0 matters… It all looks the same to the OS.
Being able to connect a mixer and record a whole band is amazing. 💪💪💪
And supports up to 30 USB MIDI controllers?
this update is never the less pretty amazing
What 16 RGB midi add-on is best to use with the force? Can you midi control the APC 64 to have use of touch strips and larger pads?
Or even the MPC studio as a bigger external pad for the force? Is this possible?
Please make the Force fully compatible with APC40 please! Wonderful update! Waiting for mine in the mail…
Andy why they never put the grid wave color on the mpcX like the Force???
Thank you so much for this update, but we now ask you, adding a multi-band parametric equalizer. This will allow you to make needle filtering, it is better to make a mixer, making mastering under the reference. It would be ideal if the Equalizer is based on the type H-EQ Hybrid Equalizer (Waves). Thank you.
When will it work properly without audio clicks with Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen class compliant USB audio interface?
Is there a Akai Force 2 coming out anytime soon cause I don’t want to buy the one and it gets discontinued
How about a midi controller with a 64 step button sequencer layered above the keyped. That I can push a step and then a key or a chord and have it play on that step...that would be super quick way to work...also a narrow screen right on top of the keyped that can display notes etc....now that would be a epic midi controlled.
Think I might get one of these, I’ve been debating between this or a live two.
Is the connection to a digital mixer also possible with MPC?
Can anyone help me? When I try to use my class compliant Focusrite 18i20 with the Force, I'm unable to record my external synths in Overdub mode. It's get it right the first time or delete and try again, which is useless for my workflow. Record mode is set to "overdub," it simply won't do it. Any tips? I'd hate to have to return this. I was excited at the prospect, but boy it ain't intuitive.
Will all of these effects be in my daw when I export the file? Is akai going to make a daw that we can use all of the things we do on force into an actual master recording?
Will it provide stems separation in the next update?
Are there any on board saxophone sounds?
