Stayed the longest in this room, transparent but smooth, phenomenal midrange. The Dyn/Octave combo just knows how to recreate live music. The timbral balance is top shelf. Would have loved to hear the new 450Wpc monos. They each have something like 12 KT170s, only costs 8-10k to retube😂
As a musician for over 40 years, this was imo the best, most "you are there" realistic sounding room at Axpona, hands down...Everything was pretty much spot-on balanced, accurately detailed, neutral and natural, and all with none of the typical "artificially enhanced" audiophile parlor tricks in the mids or highs I've heard in so many other loudspeakers, and the bass response and sense of scale was simply shocking considering the room's size-and that room was freaking HUGE!!!👏👍😲
Great to see some love for Dynaudio! They're my faovurite speaker brand by far.
