Yep it`s your decision Sion . May be more scope in 00 for details .or go modern image in N

I like this layout Sion, but ultimately you will decide, if you're happy with the running whats making you think otherwise? on this layout i can see lots and lots of prime land offering excellent development opportunities, i would be jamming the place with buildings if it was mine ha ha. I'm about to embark on a complete new layout myself in the not too distant future hopefully

Really difficult decision there Sion, I can't really give advice, but the things I'd consider include how much investment you have in the existing layout and rolling stock compared with how much (time and money) it'll cost to get the oo replacements; you get so much more scale mileage in n-scale; a lot of modern locos require 3rd-radius curves, so you might end up with a much simpler layout. At the end of the day though, it's your layout.

I started in N gauge but didn't like it so moved to 00 gauge
    All the best 👍

I think you have a great layout. Perhaps think about changing the bits you're not happy with before ripping it all out.

Hi Sion, big decision to make, you put a lot of hard hours into this layout and it’s running lovely building an 00 layout you won’t get to much into the same area (I think you like modelling more than running trains) !!! But if your not happy with it follow your instincts cheers Al

I started over just 6 months into my layout build. Once you get that doubt in your head I would say just go for it. I'm much happier with my new layout design. I really like that bendy section of track you have though.

It's your decision..rule 1 applies.... Also juya thought maybe 2 ft above two or three sides of the N gauge have a 00 end to end winter layout. Just thought I'd share the idea. But as I started with... It's your layout, your decision so ultimately up to you

Hiya matey - caught up with your video eventually. Right oh here goes my pennyworths! First, you have still got loads of scope for modeling your existing layout, but thats if your into the modeling side as well as running side. You could perhaps expand the top line to double line? More buildings and scenery? Next have you thought about the size difference? In OO you will have less turning and less length of track. At the moment you have some lovely long sections which will be shortened if you go to OO. Then, have you considered the cost? And finally - what are you going to do with the existing stock and models that you have?
BUT - at the end of the day - as everyone has said - its your choice, its your layout and your hobby. I for one will continue to watch and support whatever you decide!
    Regards
    Steve

All running well Sion. But in the end it's your decision. And as Al says you wont get as much in. Good luck 👍🏻 Stuart
