- I was inspired to make this by the Spaceship Spaceship Spaceship scene in The LEGO Movie where Benny builds the Spaceship. I got the Galaxy Explorer for Christmas and knew I had to have Benny build it. So I made this LEGO Stop-Motion Speedbuild and I think it turned out really satisfying and I hope you like it!

Yeah i recently found out how to make that effect! You just take 2 stop motion shots, 1 without the brick fully placed on (just layed on the studs) and then another with the brick fully placed

OMG this is just the bomb. Love the little details of things like closing the compartment, the door opening and closing, and the bricks behind him as he moves fast to get the blur feel. Awesome. Laughed at the end when everyone was already in it. Great creativity. Should do another one with the 70816 set.
There’s also another video where he shows how he did everything, definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen it! So cool to see the process

i used to do this a long time ago with a 3DS. my videos were mainly automotive stuff. the video was me and my team upgrading and strengthening the chassis of my old project called R.A.M. (Rhino Armageddon Maximus) which was a dually IRS IFS rock crawler truck built on a armored truck frame. the engine was a cummins V12 Procharged( 145mm ) on 4 kits of nitrous. it was originally built as a dakar drag truck
one of my guys was speed building the new rear bumper and scrap plate for the truck so i can launch over rocks at full force. i dismantled the project after my newest one came to life. the barricade runner. the direct successor to the RAM. its an armored police command center
