Way to go I'm not into 59 Cadillacs but that was a good presentation that you did with that 59 Cadillac and showing where the women in their mink coats and the interior in the way it was designed for the mink coats for women. It's a beautiful car but like I said I'm not in the 59 Cadillacs but I will do that on a t-shirt I will do a few of them on t-shirts I'll have a lot of Cadillacs that I'm going to sell put him on display at Hershey and Carlisle next year 2020. I got to do a 1964 MGB a red one on a t-shirt A roadster for a special person that I know. Her name is Pam
The '59 was an iconic design, the height, and I do mean height, of the fin craze. As much as I appreciate a special T shirt, please do your sales inventory first.
Pam, take it for a spin! Very similar to my grandfathers 60, same body but different grill and those tail lights!!! I couldn't remember where the gas fill was either! Anti thief keeping people from stealing your gas!
The fins look like they are as high as the roof line!!!! This was a strange era for Cadillac, with the 1 year '58, the crazy '59 and the calmed down '60. Do you have memories of cruising in Grand Dad's '60?
@@carshowreporter YES, Pam I remember on July 29th 1964. I had a ripped open leg from a boating accident at the shore and my gf drove my mom and me to the doctor in Beach Haven to sew it up! On the way back to Barnegat Light it was 4:10 in the afternoon when my gf said do I want a banana split! Of course I said yes as I never had one before. I knew it would spoil my dinner that grandma was preparing. But it was my first banana split and the reason I mention this is because the 60 had the same dash and I remember sitting in the front seat and when mentioned ice cream I glanced at the clock on the dash on the right of the steering wheel and thought what about dinner!!! He stopped because I was so brave and relaxed when the doctor sewed up my leg! They couldn't believe how calm I was and treated it like no big deal. Because I didn't mind needles and I was fascinated seeing my leg muscle hanging out of my leg! Rather then being scared and screaming like the average kid. I guess I also had complete confidence in Dr Trebinbacher. He said I would have feeling in the area were the injury occurred. But 55 years this July and I still don't have it! No big deal, he passed away in the 70's!
@@davemcguigan218 What a memory!! Did you become a doctor or a EMR?? Did you get addicted to banana splits ( better than opiates!! ) ? More importantly, did you get blood on the upholstery?
@@carshowreporter No I was a business major in college. But wanted to be a surgeon at that age which made it easy to deal with that trauma. No blood on the seats because surprisingly it didn't bleed much. And my mother saw the injury, 🐦 's eye view and she didn't say a word or get excited! And I probably had about 3 more banana splits over the years and the last time was probably in the 70's, been awhile! Instead of swimming and fooling around in the bay in a dingy we should have gone down the street to the ocean. But we walked the 6 blocks to the bay and the borough's boat ramp with a local kid and played in a dingy that had a leak that ripped open my leg when it was sinking and the oar lock dug into my leg! It felt like a slight abrasion when it happened, far from it!!!
Thanks for the correction, MGBetts1. Cadillac did refer to this as the 4 window. The six window was on the DeVille and the Fleetwood, like this one: northeastwheelsevents.ning.com/photo/20180801-130420
Excellent design.
Beauty ride all around. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
Believe me, it was my pleasure!! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Very sharp 59! I bet it could get pretty hot in there with all the glass.
Yes, and A/C was not standard! Although these cars were equipped with the era's version of cooling, the vent window.
And no A/C.
@@gf4353 Well, it does have 50/50 AC...50mph or 50 degrees!
These are known as "four window" - the six window is more like a four door coupe.
