And he explains that all his gear is getting repaired by the technician, and that the area he dropped it in is full of radiation, meaning that he would die of radiation poisoning if he went down there without his gear.
@@TheKillboy1000 Toss some string at it and fish it out. Go get radiation meds from a vendor within spitting distance and grab it. Or even just... don't decide to go walking in radiation land without anti-radiation gear in the first place.

While I can't play the game, I can clearly see he's naked. Not even a sunrise suit to wear, and that's practically the most basic gear to have (other than a leather jacket), so I appreciate the attention to detail.

I was really bummed out when I realized hours and hours later that i should probably have kept the gun, but i think the dual taped mag is a lootable upgrade somewhere in the zone

But to be fair, I also wouldn't have been caught dead wandering nuclear radioactive hell without equipment or medicine in the first place. So in the universe where this is a normal occurrence, you're right, perfectly reasonable.
first time i shot the guy from the distance, i thought there is a bandit camp. second time i shot him for further back but this time seeing the doom had fallen onto me, my life endede in 3 seconds i realised that the usual bandits die by my hand in 3 seconds.. this was the moment i realised i am the bandit and loaded the game.
This mission encountered a very serious bug. I didn't receive the mission or the gun after the conversation. The NPC disappeared after completing the main mission. I reloaded the game several times but the same thing happened.
Strange, but i just cant be an asshole in games like i could never be an asshole in real life. Always the nice guy, out there ready to help some strangers if i can. Betray or piss me off on the other side...

Took it because we literally half a meter away from a bandit's camp, of course someone will try to abuse our help. After you "return" the gun npc even says something like "it will be hard for you in the zone".
Felt bad for this dude. Thought, “oh shit it has a pipe on the bottom, this is gonna be my new gun!” Then immediately found the Tactical HK and now his gun is just rotting in my stash. :(
I gave him the gun then walked away, he was inside the community base later and thanked me again. But I haven't received an award or anything. It feels good to do it. I also thought it was a test or it would boost my reputation around the base but nothing and that's okay. I'll probably get something similar later

There is a side mission in Malakhit(Dr.Ozerskiy basement) where you have to get a usb flash card for a scientist and that scientist after you will get flash card will be stopped by Ward. And when you come to Ward soldiers they will say give us the flash card. And there's two options "Give them flash card" and "Attack them" BUT if you earlier got the Ward badge from Korshunov you will have one extra option "Show them badge" and they will just go freeing you and the scientist

This was leading up to become a glaringly obvious attempt at a shakedown, especially with that area being the Garbage - a name that fits the area in more ways than just one, being an apt description of most people living there. I believe this game succeeded in subverting our expectations this time around - even Witcher devs would probably have taken the opportunity to make this a stupidly predictable bandit ambush scenario.

I saw a review where a guy said that his favourite moments were just chilling near a fire with other stalkers so I was asking to make sure if I did something wrong.
The guy is pretty likely lying about it being his gun to be fair though, so keeping it isnt actually being a bad guy or anything :D If you look at the guns description (at least with german text that is) it says something along the lines of "the gun has been laying in water for quite some time" if i recall correctly, so he cant have dropped it "just now"

What's the point of grasping the mag upside-down while loading? Edit/Note: Oh, I get it. Linked mags. Some modders go a bit nuts with the wacky reload styles, so I'm a bit jaded.
Pretty sure it has a double mag which is a pretty rare upgrade from what I’ve heard. You can find another double mag in Zaton somewhere but I can’t remember where
I actually had the AK with the scope from the guy in Lesser Zone, but i like this one alot more. I didnt like the scope, this one without scope is alot sharper and the fast reload is crazy. For me the fast reload is waaaay better than the extended mag on the ak. And interestingly this ak has slightly better stats for damage than other aks

The area he dropped it in is heavily irradiated and he doesn't have any gear because it's being repaired.
You can literally ask him "why dont you go grab it?" And he explains all his gear is with the tech getting repaired, and he would die of irradiation.
