I just now have been picking it up along with bl3 since I missed out on everything except for shadows and chronicles. I am having a blast with outbreak but knowing how to optimize leveling weapons will definately help.
I've found the main silo objective in outbreak is by far the fastest leveling method for me. Intentionally failing the key sequence spawns a ton of zombies and a miniboss or two each time. A full team of players can probably speedrun to the silo and get a gun from 1-50 in just an hour. Took me (playing solo btw) 2 hours to get a gun from the low 20s to 55. It's really boring, but if you are persistent, it's probably the best method in the game.
BRO THIS IS PERFECT FOR ME IN 2024! I just got back to grinding for the camos and when I saw Doughnuts pop up I was like well well I just found a video I can trust
I know that it is supposed to be a long grind. But I would rather the camo challenges themselves be tougher rather than It taking a week to level up a single weapon. Today I was working on the swiss thirty one sniper wifeand I played For 9 hours straight and only got it. To level 44.
Wow, last game I played I used rampage inducer, which I never do, assuming it'd get me MORE XP for it being harder, more zombies, faster zombies, more kills= more xp. But that's beyond dumb it gives LESS XP when you make it more challenging. It logically should be higher risk is higher reward, same as higher rounds shouldn't be lowering xp, but I guess the devs just want you to play and grind more so they make it as annoying and slow as possible. But awesome video now I know I'll be going on public outbreak to max out my scythe and last DLC smg
I started to level up guns that I haven't used yet and I got a gun from level 4 to level 28 in one match of containment with one other player but then we died so I went to another game and it was slow, like really slow and it was a lobby of 4 on regular outbreak. Did the zombies weapon levelling system get changed again?? Or around the late 20's when a weapon needs to be used a lot more to level up?
It takes a lot more once u reach 20. And yes, the leveling guns system changed since the begining. i used to kill 2k zombies and get them to 55. Now its almost 12k...
Went back to this game because I love zombies and got tired of replaying Bo3 but what kind of backwards logic is it to be rewarded less the longer you survive
I have a question, for the dark ather i saw that you need to do only the basic gun not the dlc one to get the camo, the same one there was qhen the came came out, like for the assault rifles would be 5 of them not 9,, so now i don t know if this is still the case or not im confused
my strategy is on OUTBREAK i upgrade my weapon as fast as possible and make headshot and if the map doesn t have an ORDA or the black chess in it i m going to the next map the quicker as possible

Exactly, the camos aren’t supposed to be easy but it shouldn’t take that long to get mastery for a camo. Multiplayer camos never take this long

stopped playing the game at 6/9 wayyyy back when the game came out, years later im back to finish the grind

For the Onslaught Containment mode is there a round you recommend to get to then stop? Like if the xp drops off at a certain Surge wave.

You can use the dlc weapons to get diamond and progress it doesn’t have to be the base game weapons

Click on private. Then there’s two different options on the top click on the one that says Onslaught. Then just choose your map or mode.
