That sums up the end of a 3 year blessing of a journey. The writing was on the wall, and we parted ways as 2 people whom truly cared for one another. Meredith, you deserve all the best! Best live band on the planet. For those whom remember 1st hearing "Poker" on every college campus in 2001, its been amazing to watch them spread a genuime energy throughout every one of the 17 x I've seen them live. Each time walking thru the gates following the show, my soul feels lighter. Its a feeling that lasts several days, and they always come to rock Boston right on time. Boston loves you guys! Thank you for laying your heart on the line every show.
This song brings me back 10 years when the only version you could find was the hidden track... And I can't even remember what cd that was on. Always one of my favorites ❤️ very close to my heart, oar was me and my high school sweethearts favorite band, we saw the at least once or twice a year, and he passed away right before I turned 21. Very nostalgic.
HyperTAP I have thanked God many times for O.A.R. It seems like just yesterday when, on Napster, we all 1st cranked up "Poker" back in 2001. For me, they are the best live band, and some 20 shows later, they seem to be entering their prime. Amazing! See you all in Boston!
Jeremy Mcjenkin When they played this song 2nd at MSG '07 the crowd began signing back to the band at a level I've never experienced. I have been fortunate to have seen Phish (×10), The Dead, Allmans (×10), Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, and many festivals. That night at MSG was the most, just pure energy I have felt at a live show. There seemed to be a feeling where we, the fans, were both celebrating O.A.R. selling out the world's most famous arena, while at the same time saying "thank you" to the band.
