Hey guys, make sure to check out Drak and his amazing pixel art at: bsky.app/profile/draktheone.bsky.social I'm still learning, but I'm having an absolute blast.
Nice list ,I've been testing this version with some adjustments I've added 4 copies of training cards and 3 copies of melga ,it seems realy good synergy together with wrap evo into melga after pooking opponent to 3 security then swinging 4 times after cheet evolving into melga then bond which it stays in the board stunning 3 tamers or digimon, I found this combo is super powerful specially if I was behind I am thinking to cut death x , and playing 4 melga
Yeah, I've been debating up the Melga count myself, especially since it could let you stay in the game a bit longer against some problematic matchups. To be honest, there's probably a perfectly fine build here without Bond, using Melga as your boss monster. Just needs more experimentation.
Tried this deck at locals tonight with 0 playtesting. Round 1 win against gracenovamon. Round 2 loss to royal knights. Round 3 win against agubond. Round 4 win against gallantmon. Such a fun blast from the past!
Thanks for the shoutout haha Loved to tinker with you on the deck. I have a few other opinions on your decklist at the end but hey, thats like you said personal preference! Im just glad i can play a deck which got me into the competitive scene all the way back in bt6 again today. Very nice video, good work man.
Man, legit could not have done this without you. I get carried away and cook a bit too much sometimes, but you really helped me optimize. It was really cool seeing your latest drafts and I hope we get a chance to collab again soon. And of course, thank you for making Bond proud!
feel like yer sleeping on the new garu extra draw if you have a matt plus play a matt for free basically. i think training are also really good for the deck as well searches 2 plus cuts the costs when you warp digvolve and it's great for leaving your opponent at one. Also not huge on fox fire but it can come in clutch sometimes. Overall i like your list thought a lot of spicy tech.
Totally get where you are coming from. I did test the Bt15 Garurumon pretty early on, and eventually came off of it just because after the first one, it doesnt add much value and can't control the board. Playing the dual tamer for free was nice when it came up, but it didn't come up enough. That said, MiniMopp has been running it again to reasonable success from what I've heard. Mostly a matter of preference, I think. And yeah, Fox Fire is not a silver bullet, but it's better than any four cost option has the right to be.
the problem with training is, while its the better card, but you can only use it for the warp from melga. Everything cant evo using training since most of them are either hybrid evos on tamers (which arent digimon at that point) and bond evo through matt (which is an effect and cant be combined with training). I run 2 Garuru myself and fox fire is imo just broken in this deck
I think the distinction is that Matt is an effect you have to activate, whereas Melga's warp is basically just an alternative evo condition.@@callumlogan4874 Even if it WAS the case that you could use Mental Training with Bond, as Minimopp pointed out, you also play a lot of hybrids, so you can't always cash them in.
That’s a tough one. If you run BT15 Garurumon, then Supreme Cannon is kinda fun. But otherwise, you probably just add more to your removal suite or play Ice Wall to slow down a swarm deck.
I could see how this could absolutely blast a lot of decks but if we ever started seeing it top it would be a short run until people whip out the main board digimon emperor + takumi combo. just kinda shuts down any deck whose main engine revolves around ukko
Actually no, that was the only deck I wasn't able to test against. I know Minimopp played against it and said it was a very rough matchup. That matchup aside, it does quite well into pretty much everything else. You can certainly body Red Hybrids, which was a big plus for me. Zudomon ACE and Gesmon basically solo that matchup, and they often have nothing in security outside of a lucky Blitz Omni to stop your Bond sweep.
Agubond is in a similarly place but got much better with bt14 stuff, including skullgreymon, making the deck into a champion rush. Though it probably wont get really good till we get the secret white greymon. Super good removal, dp buffing and a super good deletion effect.
I was surprised how the BT14 stuff supports AguBond so well, better than WarGreymon actually. But, from my testing so far, it’s still missing something. The white Greymon does so much that it’ll probably be a staple for the deck, and the ACE is extremely solid. The only thing I’m not sold on are the self-destructing SkullGreymons. Haven’t seen them really make a huge difference over playing more removal options.
@kevinski-tcg from playing them in may deck, they're actually the best card in there. You finish swinging, go skullgrey, pop something, play probably searcher agumon with rush, also if your playing analog youth hatch and gain a memory. It's a turn finisher that if you know your greymon won't survive a turn, you might as well remove something, and with the white greymon you won't need analog to hatch or just play out a free tamer, and can still go into wargreymon. I'd say the only problems I'm having with the deck is there's not alot of good hybrid options besides burninggreymon or agunimon.
Yeah, I definitely see the potential for the cards. I just feel like they tax your resources too much and the floated Agumon rarely lives back to your turn anyway. It's also awkward that the BT14 SkullGreymon can't be searched by consistency options, and you can't use Offensive Training with it. I keep putting them back in because I know in principle, they are good. But compared to what Zudomon ACE does for GabuBond, both of the recent SkullGreymons leave a lot to be desired. And man, don't get me started on the Hybrid issue lol. You either play the older Aguni and BurningGrey who are basically vanillas in this deck, or you don't play the Hybrids at all because the new ones only evo on Takuya. I thought there could've been an interesting build there, and even tried an AncientGreymon package, but it just doesn't work. Now the new Red Hybrids out of BT17... You CAN use them, and with the AncientGreymon being a DigiXros target, you have a really cool way to pass turn. Sorry, @@dredgevine, that was a bit of a novel lol. Just really frustrated with how short AguBond falls compared to its brother deck. But then, it's probably just a matter of better support being a little further off.
What about playing the bt15 Matt Ishida instead of the other blue/red one? You get a memory when an effect give cards and it searches more gabumon to keep coming out of raising área?
It’s a totally reasonable replacement for the dual tamer, for sure. I just preferred the heavy memory gain and spot removal. BT15 Matt is live earlier and can give you more consistent memory gain at times.
I play it over th dual tamer. Its just way way more memory efficient and also searches your digimon (except zudo or hybrids ofc). Like you can go -> Raise BT6 Gabu, Play the Matt for 2 cost, attack and draw with wanya, suspend matt for another mem so you played him essentially for 1 cost.
It is crazy efficient that way, for sure. Patching up your searches is also a very good advantage over the dual tamer, especially in matchups where you don't have time to get that crazy memory resource setup.@@MrMinimopp
Randomly popped up on my feed and I love everything about this! Definitely excited to watch more of your videos. Also wanna mention just in case you end up building around Agubond too, there’s a really sick engine you can make with bt14 Skullgrey + Analog Youth + Lui. I’ve had turns where I got to hatch with 2 separate Analog Youths and ended up promoting 3 times! (You also get neat synergy like GreyX protection and ex1 greymon spitting out a bunch of Tai’s for free)
Great minds think alike. I am trialing that exact engine right now. The resource loop is pretty filthy, and you get to stabilize quite quickly. The deck is still missing something, but it’s coming along.

Can you do a video on Ulforce?
Wouldnt be opposed. As long as there is an interesting angle to it.
As a "Hamburg Atlanteans" Teammate of Minimop I can say - it feels so disgusting to play against this Deck xD
The deck feels gross to play sometimes. You gotta love spamming rookies and bouncing everything in sight.
I Hope everyone who plays this deck feels a little bit dirty xD
lol, yeah but also what a flex to be running people down with Gabubond XD
YES BOND BABY JAMES BOND BABY
Taking security stacks out with deadly precision!
Collab you two when?
I mean… I’m not opposed lol
@@kevinski-tcg🥺👉👈 I meeeeaaan
Lol we should get a game going Gabubond Vs Melga 😅
SPEED 😎
Deck looks awesome! Im gonna see if I have the pieces to try it haha!
I’m telling you, it’s a sleeper hit. Might need to run it for a few rounds with my coach 😉

100%. Surprise factor is a big part of this, and the Bond decks have plenty of exploitable breaking points as you mentioned.
Did you ever play against levia because I made ur deck and its great man good job Love u see u soon
