Perhaps it is because I build my own minis all the time I pull them off the clear base and put them on bases I make because it looks cooler so that would just be saving me a step
@@bryandaly8745 Agreed. All the mini gamers are out here are looking at his de-based minis and shrugging, as they reach for a base and some flocking. LOL Still. You got some good minis. Focus on the good. Anything that might be memorable encounters are awesome pulls. Even multiples.
That maw thing was sick. I brought one a while ago, dragon one I forget the name. I got quite a few doubles in them and it does suck, especially when it's not something you'd be using more than one of in a game.
I know it sucks when you find one busted of the base sucks but at least the mini not damaged at all and can be glued back down. An I agree with you it sucks to get double ups it shouldn't be that way but you know what they will say its Random

@@RastovsNDragons 100% agree on that Salt Rub, last time I got some I hit a few doubles but it was T rex and another I thought was cool so I didn't mind it but I got 4 x times the same little minis and that was a suck fest. But one good thing is a person can take some model clay and change the design around and repaint was the only good thing about the ordeal lol.
You got some really awesome minis. It's too bad about the broken doubles. Giants are something that a party of players might encounter two or more of occasionally, so double up isn't that bad, it just socks that they arrive broken. 😒
I feel your frustration on the broken ones but at least those are fixable brokens (not that you should really have any brokens to fix). As for the double-ups, that seems to be a problem with this set, another RUclipsr's unboxing was eerily similar in that way. Was really disappointed that you didn't get the spectral cloud as I know that one is right up your alley. On the big ones, I would think the doubles would be easy to sell or trade, have you tried that route?
Yeah they've been fixed now but it's just a let down when you want to show people how cool a product is. I havent thought about selling or trading I wouldn't even know where to start.
Bro don't be too disheartened. I know people have probably said this before, but you can send the broken ones back and have them replaced. I've done that in the past myself. Also, don't worry about the giant double ups, just play the Storm Kings Thunder campaign and you're away laughing.

It always stinks when you pay out hard earned money, and it shows up broken. The two hill giants are broken. I believe they are different. Look at what they are holding in their hands.
