Greg was injured even during college when he had surgery on his wrist and it was pretty much down hill from that point, unfortunately the average big man during that era when I remember big men coming into the NBA, like Oden, Emka Okafor who suffered from back spasms even big man Hakeem Warrick who played for the Syracuse thier games didn't transition the same in the NBA.
It's absolutely INSANE that LeBron was the most hyped prospect EVER and STILL exceeded expectations by a looong shot. As is still a top 10 player (debatable but i think so) 20 years later when other people drafted years after are out of the league

(shrugs) Before the injuries, he had some dang good looking games. Missing his first 1 1/2 seasons is what ruined him. I don't regret us not taking Ball. Ball doesn't become Ball on the Warriors, either. Where does he get the minutes to develop? Rookies rarely come into the league ready-made. You need to get playtime. I still insist if any team but the Pistons took Darko, he might have become something. He played a couple minutes of garbage time a game. You can't get better doing that.
Harrison Barnes is a luck luster for me, he's really great in college and he got all the tools, I expected that he become a Paul Pierce type of talent.. For Jahlil I think he's really talented but on the wrong era
James Wiseman is a much better fit for the Warriors as they have plenty of guards already. Wiseman situation is also unfortunate as the team drafted him was already a championship caliber team that needs to win now with an unfavorable system for him. His performance in the G-league has been amazing tho

If he's a 1st rounder, no. A team will just draft him and kinda put him in hostage situation where his preferred team needs to shell picks/talent since everyone that wanted to join NBA needs to declare for draft. You can do that(forego NBA draft) if you're 2nd rounder though, like Austin Reaves.

This video felt rushed as you had to pack so many players into the short time you gave it. 10 min per era/decade would have allowed you to give each player their due respect. i.e. you didn’t mention Dwight Howard’s accolades, his finals appearances, or his eventual championship. Even if as a role man. It gives you more material to work with and better research would get you more views. Good luck.

It's not the year they were drafted into the NBA, it's the year they left high school. The graduated from HS in 2006 and played one year in college (2006-07) Durant at Texas and Oden at Ohio State. So 2006 is the year.

It's not the year they were drafted into the NBA, it's the year they left high school. The graduated from HS in 2006 and played one year in college (2006-07) Durant at Texas and Oden at Ohio State. So 2006 is the year.

Kerr is to Wiseman and Larry Brown was to Darko. They drafted a kid that needs playing time more than anything, but then can't /won't / don't give him any. It would seem moving him would be in everybody's interest if the kid is going to have any shot.

There should be NO question that Ben Simmons has NOT lived up to the hype. Has shown to be unplayable in the playoffs.
The video left out Jabari Parker. He was skilled offensively but didn't have a consistent outside shot. Also he's undersized and couldn't play defense.
