I Love it! It has an artsy vibe. I’m working on my hoarding area, I’d never heard of such a thing until I watched another of your videos featuring that area of your garden and I decided I needed a hoarding area! Thank you, I always enjoy watching your channel.
I love everything about your garden and projects. Thank you for sharing it and for the wonderful commentary. I always learn a lot. More videos, please!!!!
What a great video to watch as the snow falls in the new year! I appreciate how you show us the ins and outs of getting things done. Thanks for getting my imagination off to a happy start!
I adore the faux fossil strips in your walkway! What an idea! So cool. I found some bonded marble stepping stones with a Tudor rose motif, and set them in the black river rock between my rose containers. They make me smile every time I see them. And kitty help! I do love to play with plants, and pick up seed pods as well as cuttings. I'm not that organized, so if they live, that's great. One day. I am happy that native oak trees turn up as volunteers; I love to shape them as they grow. These flashback videos are really nice, Bunny.
Lovely space. I wish I had more sun in my garden. Re box, I got rid of box caterpillar in my garden and my daughter’s garden using 1 tablespoon neem oil to 1 pint of water, just massaged the plants all over with the mixture, did it once in the Spring and again in July/August.
Interesting re Neem. It is a great pesticide we used in Japan a lot and apparently popular in Germany too. I have used it for other pests but is very thick to apply with sprayer, hence why you say massage. I think it qualifies as organic, it comes from Neem tree in India as I’m sure you know. ❤
@@bunnyguinness As I only have a dozen or so box plants (meant to look like chickens) and my daughter the same it is simpler to make up the mixture and wet the plants by hand, I kind of massage it into the branches and leaves and twigs. Neem is from the neem tree and is extensively used in India and Sri Lanka, maybe all of Asia, as an insecticide, disinfectant etc. (head lice!). Completely organic and natural. I made up the proportions myself as I couldn’t find advice anywhere, it may be that a weaker mixture would suffice. Neem oil tends to be solid at room temp in the UK so you have to warm it a little. When diluted I think it would go through a spray but I did take time to thoroughly soak the plants. I got mine from Amazon but probably Asian shops stock it, I don’t live close to any.
It was formed from ammonites from Thomason cudworth we laid them on a 1:4 cement mortar bed that sat on hardcore, around 50mm depth as the underlying soil is free draining and stony so more hardcore was not needed. We did not point them up but just laid them very close together. The ammonites are a range of sizes from 30cm to 2cm and are 5 cm deep. They are made from reconstituted stone but hand finished making them look very realistic. They can be used indoors or outdoors.❤
Wow, imagine having a young Adam Frost build your potting bench 😊
I thought it was him!

This is my favorite garden of Bunny's.

😊
Could you share the name of the spray you use for powdery mildew (from USA)
Is that a very young Adam frost helping out?!
Yes well spotted! He lives up the road, and then was a landscape contractor. 🐇
What is the music in the background here? Some kind of desert blues? I'd love it if someone could tell me what this is.
Your videos are so wonderful. Why must we have that dreadful, loud music!
I agree! Is not quite right, we will keep trying…..❤
@@bunnyguinnessI don’t remember hearing music! Loved the whole video!
Would love to know how the Ammonite path was done
