I tracked my time pretty much for the whole of 2020 (covid year) and that was one of the best years of my life, particularly for exercise, planning, memory keeping, goal tracking, reading, writing, reflection, getting up early, etc etc. I don’t look back at those records but when I am ready to pick my life back up again I know I have got a complete record of just how I did it. It is in complete contrast to my life now where it’s an achievement if I actually get out of bed!
I did this experiment a few years ago as a tool in learning to pace myself to avoid chronic illness flares. I learned that tracking what I do and how long I do it every day (on a spreadsheet) helps me adjust my schedule and prioritize goals. I wander off occasionally, but keep coming back to it.
This is a great video, I prefer to use blocks in a small L1910 or whatever the number is. I do not try to be productive after a full day of working. I enjoy my time off. However, I may write in my Hobonichi weekly that I played Balders gate 3 or something, or read for 3 hrs. I have been watching youtube Hobonichi unboxing all day and reading. Love the nail color btw, looks like the color of the year for Hobonichi.

Great video! 🌻 I’ve been trying to create a “time block” calendar but it ended up becoming a “time tracker” calendar instead 😅(I agree that tracking the time is also useful, but I wanted to create the blocking time calendar). Anyway, do you use the time tracking and the time blocking systems simultaneously? Just wondering 😊 Thank you!

Thank you 😮👍
This is a great idea!
Great to watch this video! I normally track minute by minute my time when I want to be super productive and it really works for me! 😄

“Mental health breakdown” I felt that. ❤️
Wow this is kind of crazy but really interesting to see ❤
Girl. Get Toggl - much easier than filling in a calendar manually!
