Not sure if it’s just me but a lot of the time when fighting enemies they just stand still and don’t even attack, even the regisvines, so its 10x more annoying when I have to wait for them to eventually function like normal.

@@azul1964 yeah if you counter there is a multiplier added to the damage that the enemy hit you with then it’s thrown back out as an aoe and you take no damage while it happens :) it’s got a nice cool down too so you don’t need to worry if you miss it.
Pro tip from a Beidou main who has zero patience, you probably already know this, but in the open world if there is grass there is and opportunity to light it on fire, stand on it and hit E
As a Beidou main I can confirm this is basically how I play against them. I realize though that I need to be more offensive and am starting to like using Jean offensively.

One thing I think Genshin does incredibly well that I think gets slept on is that EVERY character performs they're role in a unique fashion. They might objectively not be the best in that role and there are certainly similarities, but they all approach their roles in a unique fashion and I really, really enjoy that. Example: Sucrose and Venti. Between the two Venti is far and above superior at the role he fills, but Sucrose still approaches the role with unique animations, attacks, and the like. So much so that you can absolutely see someone justify using a character that is objectively less effective at a role just because they like the weapon they use, the animations, the character's personality, etc.
