It took me 2 hours to get it off I think they partly welded the sliding panel on, don't pull the switches they are soldered to the board and also the pl259's are also soldered to the board
4watts was too much had my radio worked on never had a problem ever again running it with 4 W cooked the amp a little bit too much. It’s pushing it and will sound like crap on it also
@@yTb2801082331 The IRF530 will have more of a chance, but you'll not get more than about 50W reliably. Basically you need to use proper RF transistors, not switching MOSFETS - they are not designed to have much gain above about 10MHz.
One day i will repair my RM kl 300 well done on the repair.
Nice one Rui
How do i get cover off

Your power meter reflect needle seems to go below the zero level. Is there a problem with it?
Don't think so
What type of finals ( transistors) did you use as replacements ?
I believe that you stated you replaced all 4 with new ones ?
Thank you for your time
Replace them with original RM3 finals
In the video you said the fuse only 5amp!! That NOT correct since i have 3pct of this amlifier and they all have 12amp fuse.
What finals did you put in,I smoked one of mine, a little smoke came from it.
Originals
How do I know what size to get?
Hi Rui, can you tell me the value of the two blue capacitors?
Thanks from Italy.
Very cheap 50p each
Or even cheaper
@@ruiamorim1975200able thank you Rui
It should be putting out 100watts with 4 watt drive
yes correct. I have 3pc and they all give 100w whit 5w input :) 10w input 200w ssb no problem.

MSFT2 = MSFT3 = MSFT 4 = MSFT 5 = MSFT 6 =
MSFT 7 = MSFT 8 = MSFT 9 = RM3
MSFT1 = RM4
@@ruiamorim1975200able It's not so useful to say 'use the originals'.
IRF520 or IRF530 might be a more useful answer.
@@aga5897 Hi aga, please, can you tell me if IRF520 or IRF530 mosfet are both right for my KL203 (100W power amplifier)? Thanks!
