when i started DJ'n 15 years ago or so.. my dad bought me my first 5 records for xmas.. went to the infamous record time in detroit and one of the employees picked out a mix of different electronic records.. this being one of them. still one of my favorite records to this day.. mine is a white label 2x12" and am just now recording it as a digital track.. this side of my copy just has the word "Three" hand written on it with red sharpie.. wonder who wrote this and if its a original promo press or something..
Back in 2003, driving between Baker and Death Valley in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere listening to this track. 3 A.M. ... somewhat fitting. I will always think of road trip when I hear this.
I was 18 and drunk off my ass in a computer lab, chatting online with some people about music. Someone suggested that I might enjoy this album, so I said "Okay, BRB" ... Literally walked the four blocks over to a Homer's Music downtown, and happened to find it in a stack of $10 CD's I ripped off the plastic and slapped it into my Discman. Chick was drop jawed when I returned less than 15 minutes later, happily jamming the best impulse buy of my life.
This song is An EXPERIENCE!!! Even after 20 years, I STILL get shortness of breath, a rush of adrenaline, hot flushing in my face, and can't help but move-jiggle-bop-twitch-rockbackandforth, jammin hard to tha swell of the sounds that electrify each muscle...It is HARD ta fight Thee Urge and not get up and dance, do fifty pushups, ten minutes of jumping jacks or simply spin round n round n round....Invigorating! Every Time!!!!Thanks RITM.....
These guys were sheer brilliance back in the day. Whatever they touched turned to gold in my eyes. This song especially was genius.
The energy of this track just keeps on rising and rising. It is even heavier in a club with a great soundsystem. Heard this one in Hopetosse
John Digweed played this back in september at The Bow, in Buenos Aires, such an amazing track!!

Deep techno with a very solid feel. Amazing -- but typical of RitM. 1998.
