I'd hate to break it to you, but I suspect the artwork is most likely AI-generated.
It's AI. Look at the knife on the right and how the outside of the plate melts into it. That's the most obvious way to tell. Human artists know how to draw things separately (so, they draw the plate _then_ the knife). AI doesn't have that capability, so they try to do both at the same time and often get confused and think they're the same object. Try to trace the outline of the plate with your mouse if you struggle to see what I mean --- it doesn't line up where the knife is.
There are also some smaller things which give it an AI vibe, but they could just be stylistic choices, so I think that checking for "melting" is the best method to check.
