Hello, first I would like to say thank you for your videos! I find them very helpful in ways that a lot of other similar youtube channels are not. I wanted to ask your personal opinion and the opinion of the viewers and fellow German learners. I cannot find a good book on German grammar, I am bilingual and learned spanish as my second language and trying to learn German grammar when the part of my brain that knows grammar is already full of spanish and english nonsense is very difficult. I find that i particulary struggle with intermediate grammar, especially sentence structure and conjugations. Would you or any of the viewers recommend any books they may have found or read that help to understand German grammar?

If you want to say that you like to do something and want to use "gern", then the sentence structure would be: Subject + Conjugated Verb + GERN + (whatever you like to do) For example, Ich fahre gern Motorrad. (I like to ride motorcycle.) In case you want to use "lieben" or "mögen", the sentence structure would be: Ich liebe/mag Motorrad zu fahren. (I love/like to ride motorcycle.)
Well the main difference between "mag" & gern(e) is that - mag is the 1st person singular form of the verb mögen - to like. While - gern is an adverb because it modifies the verb. Mag is a verb ; and gern is an adverb. Gern comes after the verb, you don't necessarily need anything else, unless a verb requires an object to make the statement more clear. Such as in: I play... you could just say: I like to play. But to be more clear what you like to play: I like to play soccer; I like to play guitar. Etc. Ich spiele gern Fußball, ich spiele gern Gitarre. Usw.

I'm a beginner in German, but it's funny that "spazieren" is the word for "go for a walk," since Polish uses almost the same word ("spacer," with similar pronunciation). Do they both trace back to the Italian word "spaziare"? This didn't seem to make it into English.
