Swimming in september is pleasant in Maryland and the surrounding area. The sea temperature is 74°F on average (min/max: 71°F/77°F), allowing you to swim for a long time and enjoy water sports. Miss cold water lol 😅🙃

Totally agree!! Went there last summer. Never again !!!
This was our first time going on a boardwalk like this in the US. It was cool to us because it felt like we were in a movie. I can see how people who grew up around here might see it differently. But with new eyes, and no backstory, we loved our time in Ocean City.
@@ChaseforAdventure . OC is "ok", but Wildwoods boardwalk blows OCs out of the water (no pun intended, lol). And the beaches are much more kid friendly. Incredibly fine sand, and the shorebreak is much gentler and safer. I recommend staying in Wildwood Crest (south of the boardwalks end). It's nicer, and farther south down the Crest doesn't have the "ponds" that form after storms. If you have the money, Stone Harbor. What a beautiful place, sophisticated enough but not "stuffy". And of course Victorian Cape May. You'll cry.
It was her first time, I can't fault her. And if they had a good experience then that's cool. While I do go to OC once in a blue moon, I much prefer Cape May County. But I want the masses to continue going to OC! 😆

Ocean City MD is a ghetto dump. Beach is ok, boardwalk yuck
We loved it!
A lot of people don't know any better, OC (Md) as "the place to go" is programmed into peoples heads. My go to is Wildwood NJ (stay in Wildwood Crest, nicer, calmer, cleaner than Wildwood proper). Better boardwalk by a long shot, better beach. Much finer sand, and the shorebreak is much more toddler friendly. It gently rolls in for over 100 feet only a couple of inches deep. And no crowding, it's spacious!
