That rear seats space is the only thing putting me off getting one of these. Apart from that it's a sweet little hatch. Good video man, you went through all the things that most people want to know about. kudos!
dont buy the 2017 buy the new 2019 or a series 2. that car body comes already from 2012 like mine. if you have a lil it more money buy a moe modern bmw its like paying more expensive for a new iphone when its exactly the same as the old one.
Nice video mate I have the same car in m sport trim but mine is 3 door and it’s auto one of the best auto gearboxes mine is a 65 plate and the road tax is only 30 pounds
They are easy to slide if you turn off all the driver aids ! but the electronics do a good job at keeping everything pointing in the right direction. Having said that, most RWD BMW owners keep a set of winter tyres to swap onto, if they live in the North.
@@life_on_cars North East region here.... Winters tend to be more wet then a dumping of snow , if so it might last a few days ! For some reason the 120d market seems to be cheaper than the 118d ?!
Buying one for my girlfriend this weekend. Im more into older BMWs but I was testdriving one the other day and this was the very very first thing I noticed haha, REALLY annoying! This was not the case in an F30 or any other BMW I've owned haha
@@bySumar I was wondering if more BMW F series suffered from the same. There is a way no compromise, but the sooner you adjust the steering up/down or move the seat, you’re done 😂

I’ve got the same car, when my warranty expired I retrofitted the cruise control. Really easy to do, just need the new buttons and the coding tool.

.. still looking at the 1 series! How did the 120d hold up in wet / wintery conditions? Does it have too ,much torque to be able to control the rear?
