Sad part is that they can actually choose to have the stats or not, so doesn't really stop scammers. Sadly

Yeah.
For real! Because there’s so many scams now I bet 1/3 of adopt me players are sad
Adopt me needs to add how many pets you have to really stop scammers.

The profile status could potentially stop some scammers, but it will also likely lead to more people being targeted for hacking. If we have the option to, I'm turning my status off as soon as I leave my house in the game.
I didn’t understand, wdym by targetted or hacked, this update is fully safe imo.

Just make sure your account is secure!
Step one: get 2 step verification.
Step two: don’t click any links.
Step three: most important step, do NOT trust anyone!
Step four: have a secure pass.
Step five: keep your Roblox username private online.
If you follow all these, I believe there is no way for you to be hacked.

You can just hide those stats if you want it's just an option. So yea scammers can still scam you know.😔
It won't really stop them tho, because you can choose which stats to display for others to see. So if they don't want to show how many eggs they hatched, they don't have to. How many neons they have? They don't have to. Rip 😢

u probably havent thought of this but its fine.
So the new trading history thing lets you pick your trades. Lets say this is a trust trade scammer or a crosstrade scammer. They can get an alt, join the server, then if it shows the smiley face to resemble friend, when they get in the server they unfriend - (or if the scammer has their joins on the alt joins them) and lets say its a trust trade, they display their trade of the person giving a really good pet and then they give it back. This process could possibly happen multiple times, including on youtube to trick people (especially under 10) that they are “trusted” Stay safe!
edit: and they also can choose not to have stats or displays or anything like that which this update can sometimes stop scammers if they are stupid (which most of them ofc r cause they cant get a life)
it wont stop scammers unless they add those onto their profile, its an option to add onto your profile like displays and stuff

This will NOT stop scammers at all, 1. They can just create a neweer account and be poor on there 2. You can decide if u wanna put stats on your profile AND which stats to put

finally so people can stop this scam : so basically this scam is somebody going to give for example a frost dragon and then after they bring out their alt and for example lets say their alt has a mega dog and then the person who has the frost will say "TRADING FROST DRAGON FOR MY DP MEGA DOG" and then they will trade their alt with the mega dog their alt will say "no I don't like this trade" then the other person who will get scammed will overpay a lot for the mega dog and then the person with the frost dragon leaves and u lose all ur pets but now we can see the join date and see if they joined this month , or last week Im so happy this scam is stopping I got scammed for a blazing lion by this scam!
