This my absolute favorite character from the franchise and most of the recreations I’ve seen bypass the “stretch factor.” AMAZING WORK! It turned out perfectly.

Oooh, she came out great! Maybe if you did a run back of this, you could try silicon rubber for the light pink parts?
Toys like Mommy in real life are usually either partially rubber, or rubber skins around corn syrup- think of those videos of people cutting open rubber toys and filling em with water till they pop.
If you made a resin mold, it would both be a fun new medium to experiment with and slightly more accurate to what Mommy probably would have been like, just gotta find the right color silicon and mold it around the wires
I have messed with molds before and I really don't like them. Maybe because I don't have the right tools to make a perfect mold, like a pressure chamber to remove air bubbles.

Okay I barely saw any comments about Betty Spaghetti AKA the bendy doll from the '90s. I'm sure Mommy Long Legs is based off of Betty Spaghetti due to them having the same concept (elasticity and bendiness) and having similar features on both dolls (high ponytail, similar face shape and body shape). I would reccomend looking into the Betty Spaghetti doll!
I feel life bjd style limps could be an interesting way to achieve the stretchy but possible limps - with extra slack on the elastic and maybe a vinyl sleeve covering them.
This thing is so awesome!!! I was curious on the stretch and pose thing and I kinda guessed they'd have to be interchangeable, very smart though to use magnetics to change the limbs that I wasn't expecting! I wish the real toy looked nearly as good!
