Never played the game, don't plan too, but I do enjoy these replays Raptor. When you only have a 30 min lunch at work, these are perfect entertainment. Thanks!
I will repeat myself, from comments on other videos: 1. Thanks for covering the mid tiers. I recently unlocked my fourth Tier X ship after 7 years and close to 16,000 games but OP subs and carriers plus gimmicks at the high tiers keep me more around Tier VII. 2. It is such a shame these videos don’t get the views they deserve. You should get more return for your effort, but more importantly there are so many players who need the tactical insight.
You are more motivated peron than i . I joined in the beginning of the game but back when the Belfast was the pride and joy of the p2w fleet i left and only creat an account fot time to time to kill a time when i am in the mood. Never got past tier 9
“Don’t try this at home, kids: he is a professional.” If you won’t put the warning up, someone has to. Open-water gunboating, low-tier light cruiser, middle of the map right square in the crossfire zone. Getting away with doing exactly what any responsible RUclips or other real expert will tell you to NEVER do is an excellent example of tactical thinking and flexibility: 1. Starts with sound plan for map and disposition of friendly forces. 2. Plan does not survive first contact with random decisions of teammates, never mind first contact with enemy. 3. Revised plan evolves constantly as information comes in, exploiting random events such as otherwise-wasted destroyer smoke. The running explanation is helpful, not everyone can narrate and handle a complicated tactical situation at the same time. I have no doubt you would have gone dark and run for an island if the Bismarck player: 1. Had been driving a battleship with rifled barrels (not an option for that ship in this game) 2. Had been firing armor-piercing (an option, but to my mind a difficult choice due to the probability of over-pens, particularly with the poor dispersion and sigma of those guns).
Oh crap. SeaRaptor says the mid tier British DD's are not good. I'm on Acasta working toward Icarus and not liking these DD's much. Now I hear I have to get to Lightning before they get good. Ouch!
I just finished regrinding Italian DDs and Dutch cruisers. I'm now considering either British DDs or IJN torp boats, and I know both will be a challenge.
@@SeaRaptor It's been ages since I've played either line. Main advantages of British DDs are on-the-ready smokes to help against CVs, and decent enough guns to self-defend and use offensively sometimes. IJN can be a lot less flexible.

Glad you like them!
Time for another episode of “Helena Let Loose”. :-P

We all laugh at the HE slinging Bismarck until we inevitably get that guy on our team.

It's rough out there. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Jervis isn't really an upgrade from Icarus (which isn't really an upgrade from Acasta).

@@rjcolombe The IJN torpedo boats are more enjoyable than the Brits, IMHO.
