I remember that one time a primaris Marine Rescue a woman Risking his own life for her and the dark angels Told him compassion was a weakness and that primaris Marine Didn't care and took off one of the dark angels cloak to cover up and warm up the woman
And at the end of that book he also blew that woman apart point blank range after she sided with the Xenos (Kroot) attacking him and his squad. I think he learned a valuable lesson how the IOM works in M42.
I remember when the Primaris were introduced, they were described in general as being even more aloof and coldhearted towards mortals than the firstborn. Guess they retconned that piece of lore at some point.
Gabriel Seth’s reaction to the Primaris sticks in my head. How the Guardian Of Rage pinned a Primaris by the shoulder armor and beat his face in. Then he asked what would happen when the Black Rage affected the Primaris. Afterwards he asked the Chaplain to help the new captain to his feet.
I think the transformation had influence on some, as Uriel Ventris started to be more cold and calculating after it, and it took Pasanius to bring him to old self.
Not even. Tyberos is large compared To the normal marine but he also wears termi armor so that helps. At the end of the day he is still a normal marine even with primaris he would be significantly smaller then a primarch
Depends. A Firstborn Astartes stands between 7' and 8' tall, unarmored. The Primaris stand between 8' and 10' tall, unarmored. Tyberos is described as being able to wear Dreadnought plate, which suggests he's _far_ larger even than a Primaris Astartes already. The heights of the Primarchs aren't exactly detailed in lore, but we know Lion El' Jonson is "just under 3 meters (9 feet) in height" _(Descent of Angels)._ So expanding that, it's quite possible that even some of the Primaris are taller than some of the Primarchs. Given that Tyberos is definitely larger than a Firstborn, larger than the Primaris, and larger than some (if not most) of the Primarchs already, with a Primaris conversion, I think it's safe to say he'd absolutely be one of the largest members of the Race of Mankind, likely tied for a close second with either Vulkan or Ferrus Manus behind the Emperor.
@@Lochlann13 I have The Lion and a normal Primaris Astartes action figures from Joytoy. Lion towers head and shoulder over the Primaris, so that is that.
Figuring The Red Wake is already a biggun by Space Marine standards and has unique Terminator armor I’d be curious to see what would happen if/when Tyberos crossed the Rubicon.
But did Cawl restrict himself to creating just one Legion of Primaris Marines or content himself with Primaris version 1.0? Gulliman himself said that Cawl always exceeds his remit.
It's heavily implied but not fully confirmed that the Primaris Marines are simply the completed Raptors Project (with a few minor edits). The very same that the Emperor gave to Corax before the stuff was tampered with by the Alpha Legion. I don't mind them, it's a great literary vehicles to put the reader in space marines shoes that are new to the setting. The universe is insane, nothing makes sense, my "brothers" of the first generation distrust me, its all so confusing. And yet.. they keep it together. That's so grim dark and awesome I really don't get the all the complaints.
Unlike the shallow content of channels like MajorKill, this channel stands as a testament to intellectual depth, offering sophisticated insights for the discerning Warhammer enthusiast-a haven for those who appreciate nuance and thoughtfulness in their fandom.
I still think GW missed a trick by not having a "big name" fail. Not necessarily killing one off, but instead making them go mad or otherwise be physically distorted. Consider a chapter master of a legion suddenly becoming psychic for example, or developing a new gene flaw. It would have real narrative value of how that's reconciled. Eg, if Ragnar became wolfen.
"The ethical dilemma was equally concerning" Ah yes, in the grim darkness of the far future, where there is only war, where servitors exist simply to perform eternal menial tasks, where the Penitent Engine and Arco-Flagellation are considered valid punishment, and where all of Humanity wages a constant campaign of xenocidal extermination....the Primaris conversion of Firstborn Astartes is the _ethical dilemma._ Got it.
Nah. Thunder Warriors were like literally brain tumor addled mutant cyborgs. They got wiped out not for being not good, but because they just were basically extremely short lived and borderline already chaos corrupted, cause they didn't just do what the emperor said, they were like a swarm of locusts he'd just unleash on colonies that wouldn't immediately surrender. Thunder Warriors were as fucked up as like Khornates tho. Raping and eating women and children shit, killing anyone just to kill them.
Theoretically, the Carcharadons don’t have a single Primaris, do they? (I don’t think even Tyrebos was a primaris. I think he was just an absolute unit)
They’ll probably get their Primaris soon enough,… that is if they can find them. But a lotta comments are curious if/when Tyberos crosses the Rubicon, the guy’s already an absolute beast.
A bit of constructive criticism: These videos are well narrated, but poorly edited. Entire sections are repeated or slightly reworded. Again, the narration is fantastic, but some of these clips are out of order or just repeated. Kind of like what I just did there. Regardless, thanks for all the hard work you put in!
So no space marine legion would give gene seed to some mechanicus freaks, first off. Second is the idea that someone IMPROVED AND TAMPERED with the GOD EMPORERS holy work. Everything lore wise says this shouldnt be a thing, coulda just gave em a new armor MK. to compliment the hover b.s.
Primaris are a terrible concept, drummed up by their present day fanfiction level writers after they read in to thunder warriors. That's ALL they are, thunder warriors without the drawbacks which also now makes the emprah look even MORE like an A hole in the story after they added in the stupid culling retcon, which I'd like to add was in the lore / rules during the 1st - 4th edition because their used to be rules to actually field thunder warriors...I have one -_-. It's a terrible concept and I'm glad most people look upon them as pathetic.
GW cash grab. There are so many things forced into this lore its ridiculous, most of it just doesn't fit. The biggest problem with 40k is that its a poorly written tv series that just drags on and on because its a business rather than a plot that has a beginning, middle and final conclusion. A stiry that knows exactly the path to take. There is no risk, all primarks or main characters either survive, get saved or (yawn) sucked back into the warp yet again. Their is no risk or forward momentum. Its just a souless product asking stupid money for ridiculously cheap plastic figures.
