Each BF tank has a shell cycl / ejection sound. I think they did it best in the BF game that has the tiger, especially when combined with the engine sound

yes but i thought they would explode only after impact lol. i didnt know you could just shoot it near an enemy and it would explode in mid air like it does in BF4 for example
That was the peak no doubt, the most immersive, detailed, years crafted mechanichs, beautiful battlefield ever, map quality, mechanichs, weapons, sound, everything maxed.
I was defending the Austrian - Hungarian Empire in this particular map. I experienced one of the most intense and awesome moments in my entire life. We defended Point A for so long, losing it and retaking it at the last moment. Starting again, waiting the enemy to charge, getting into position and firing those LMGs. Gas, bombs, shells, bullets, death. It was truly the most immersive experience I've had in any game (PlanetSide 2 might be there as well). We eventually lost the point but ultimately won at the last Sector with the same way.
One thing that I would like to point out is the implementation of an instrumental version of Kenny Loggins's Danger Zone during the plane section. I really appreciate that.
I love the amount of detail in this game! Little things like the Putilov Garford's shells being disposed manually, a sniper closing one eye when aiming with the scope... It's small things like these that make alot of the game so great imo!
Battlefield 1 was a polished gem to the BF series indeed. But the my greatest and funniest moments was during Battlefield 4! Man I really miss those times when you actually had a squad of friends to play with...
I would have paid 2x as much as I paid for BF2042 just to get more content for this game! 🙌 Hell I would have payed that just to get more players back online! 😢 Favourite BF by far! Don't get me wrong 3 and 4 were great but this one still holds up to modern standards!
Unfortunately the pink nostalia cloud is quickly pooped by the same bs that every game nowdays has: if you don't play as a tryhard, with a competitive intent with the meta guns, you will be always stomped, and basically spend your precious gaming time frustrated on the deploy screen again and again, till the depression doesn't makes you to quit.
That's why I'm glad beyond the wire is finally out from Early Access and now a full launch ww1 shooter. It's basically Hell let loose and battlefield 1 had a baby together.
The sad fact is that in Australia Battlefield one is completely dead there’s absolutely no one playing so I had to resort to battlefield five which so happens connects to a server very far away so when I do anything it takes a bit for it to happen
I recently was playing on rupture, Conquest and there was a dude in my squad who was talking about how much fun he was having and was comparing it to Star Wars battlefront. New players are still coming to this game lol.
Love the putilov. You drive in reverse, not sideways then pop in the drivers seat and scoot when the tanks and grenades come at you. Must be super irritating but no one else seemed to use it very well.

I'm litterally crying bc im thinking about my crew of battlefield 1. We were a group of 15 friends, it was so great. I reinstalled the game 2 weeks ago and we are 3 left, still good but my god, in 2016/17 we had some fun.

BF 3 was peak Battlefield. The sound design, the visuals even the little easter eggs to reach the revolver in BF 1 was outstanding. Just call these devs back, give them time and free hand, so we can experience another quality battlefield game.

Bf1 is truly Dice's Magnum Opus. Its an amazing game. The level designs and music really nail the atmosphere of ww1.
