2023, Rochester, NY, The Thunder birds were here and as I was in my apartment watching out my window for the jets to pass and as I sat at my computer Jet 5 passed by my window, I live in a high rise up on the 19th floor and it was like the scene in Top Gun when Tom Cruise flies by the tower after he was denied, my windows rattled really bad but the excitement was so cool. It was a Huge thrill to see the diamond formation go by as well. Thanks for this memory, GOD SPEED

While attending Officer Basic Course at Ft. Sill in 1970 my buddy and I heard the Thunderbirds would be flying in an air power demonstration at nearby Altus AFB so we went to see them as well as the other amazing aircraft. We saw for the first time a low level high speed pass then pull back and head into the stratosphere by an F4 Phantom,, he and I just looked at each other exclaiming "HOLY SH*T,, that plane is SO FRIGG'N FAST! Can you imagine what it must feel like!" America's Thunderbirds and Blue Angels are indeed a treat to witness, EVERY AMERICAN should see them at least once in their lifetime,, it will be an experience they will never forget,, I haven't and never will.
It's good to see this on RUclips, but nothing beats actually being there to see them perform! God bless them, I have seen these guys perform since I was little in San Antonio.

Iwas told long time ago that one of the founding members of the original thunder birds was an RAAF exchabge pilot Benny RAFFIN ISERVED with him him in 36SQN (RAAF) C130 (A model)
I was in basic at Amarillo in March 1966! I was a crew chief on the F-106 at Dover AFB. In 1969 I crewed the F-100 in Viet Nam. First plane was hit with ground fire and the pilot was killed. Couple days later I crewed another plane. I got out Jan 1970. Some times I wish I would of stayed in!
It's always a pleasure to wath Thunderbirds in action. I used to watch them from a friend's window in Colorado Springs near Peterson AFB. Go to the USAF-u. I really like air shows.Chicago bows.

I love precision flying. I've seen the Thunderbirds perform in Tucson, AZ several year ago. Never forgot it. My Dad was a civilian pilot, so I've flown with him in small craft. Loved it! Still have flying in my blood, but commercial airlines is about all I fly in now.
As an AF retiree, I love watching this team preform. I am slightly disappointed that we had to hear lame music rather than the conversations between the ground and air crew members. This synchronized dress and cover movements look cool and robotic to the laypeople, but we all know that these are still teammates/friends/family working together at an awesome cadence to make us all VERY impressed....and I want to listen and "hear" them do their jobs. Mostly, I want the youth of America, and the World to hear their stories. The extreme complexities of how they got here, how they merge careers and families, and how they are....as a team, also a family. Been here, done it, loved it. I just want to finally hear it.....from the best. These types of ass kickers need theirs stories to be told.
Change the cameraman who constantly showed shots of the audience rather than the planes. Replace the Major who was the announcer with someone who is NOT bored with the presentation. As an Air Force veteran, I'm proud of the pilots and their continual high performance level. Loved the show, what we were shown of it.
This why I will always be straight forward challenging non American's.... This Country is the land of the Proud and Strong lives with Honor and Survivor by Strength and Love.... Number #1 in the World... I can't say it any better... PRIDE

When I was living in El Cajon, California, I saw the Blue Angels perform and they were very cool. On Coronado Island, the Navel Airbase, they had the Blue Angles parked by the water on the field, and when a girlfriend and I went on a bay cruise on Coronado Bay, next to the Naval base, the #6 Angel was parked there so the cruise boat went by it. That was great. Another time, my family was on the highway in an area the Angels were performing a show, and a diamond formation of the birds buzzed right in front and just above us while we were driving. We were all shocked and amazed by the speed and extreme low altitude they passed over us, left to right.

Saw these planes in 2012 at McConell Air Force base in Wichita, Ks. Also two B1B bombers. One on the ground, one making some really loud passes. And then there were these jets. Great day if seeing all kinds of aircraft. Even some HUGE cargo planes.

Was lucky to grow up fairly near Miramar NAS in San Diego, back when only jackrabbits lived there. Eventually, travellers on I-5 could watch touch-and-gos for their entertainment. I saw a lot of the Blue Angels, but this was my first time seeing the Thunderbirds.
USAF has sustained power. When the Navy, honorable as they are, is dry. The United States Air Force will sortie (operate). Special thanks to those who have the duties that maintain American strength. Your jobs often go underappreciated. Thankless sometimes. But you are the soldiers who make us strong. We are proud of our jets and pilots, but it's you that silently serve the country. 🇺🇸

I spent almost a year on a Navy carrier, and I seen what those pilots can do. Like landing on a moving target at sea.

The amazing adventure was an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE, except the Rolls-Royce Engine was missed at the Regional Airport. The WINGS at the BLUE BRIDGE looks absolutely Great! The ANTICIPATION with Thunder and Lightning and Dates with ANGELS are certainly EXCITING Journey in 2023.~Marilyn Kelly~

Was lucky to grow up fairly near Miramar NAS in San Diego, back when only jackrabbits lived there. Eventually, travellers on I-5 could watch touch-and-gos for their entertainment. I saw a lot of the Blue Angels, but this was my first time seeing the Thunderbirds.
