DECO GEL 1.0 is a collection of 50 gel pens for decoration, drawing and calligraphy, divided into color series: MILKY WAY, METALLIC and STAR SPARKS. They work perfectly on light and dark paper surfaces as well as on papers covered with watercolor paints, water-based markers (such as Brushmarker PRO markers) and many other surfaces such as glass, foil, metal or stone covered with acrylic paints and markers containing acrylic paints (such as Pigment Decobrush markers). This variety of surfaces provides unlimited creative possibilities.
DECO GEL 1.0 gel pens are precise tools for creating works full of subtle details and light nuances, such as calligraphy, bullet-journaling, scrapbooking, zentangle or mandalas. They are characterized by high covering power (MILKY WAY and METALLIC series), rich colors (METALLIC series), and special light effects (STAR SPARKS series). The covering, pigment-rich, dense water-based inks in DECO GEL 1.0 pens provide a smooth line, do not bleed through to the other side, are water-resistant (on paper) and lightfast.

These gel pens look great ! Are they refillable, or do you have to buy another set when they're out of ink ? Do they last long when you're colouring mandala drawings, or do they go out of ink very quickly ?
You get a packet of refills when you buy the full set.
What journal did you use here. I’ve just received my full set of all 3 and I use quality paper yet the star sparks seem to have hardly any base colour, just some sparkle. Until you get to the blue. You can hardly tell the difference in the colours. I was not as impressed as I thought I’d be. Especially for the price. The best pens are the violet from milky way and silver from star sparks.
What black paper do you suggest for our pens?
I have found, whatever black paper I use. They are barely visible.
I bought these metallic pens and they didn't work on my black paper at all. What kind of paper did you use?
Hi, I was just writing because of the same issue. I bought all 3 and the black paper I’m using is quality paper yet I can barely tell the difference between the colours in the star sparks or metallic. Even Milky Way is very see through, except for violet. For the price, I was so disappointed.
We are very sorry to hear about your bad experience with our product. There are different types of paper and each of them is soaked in different chemicals and has different absorbency. The experiences of other artists show that the quality of paper is important, but they also say that there is no uniform key to selecting paper. We therefore recommend testing different substrates. Got my set today and the Milky Way set are leaking into the lids, has any one else had this problem and what can I do to stop it happening..

I bought the Star Sparks and they don´t really dry. What´s wrong with them? Sakura drys way better.
Yeah mine smudged after 24hrs + of being written. The black is even worse, it smudged right across the paper.
Our gels contain a lot of water in their base and the large tip allows for a very large flow - it is much larger than in typical gel pens. Additionally, the drying process may be disturbed by ambient conditions (air humidity, temperature).
